 MOMENTARY AFFLICTION


MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Corinthians 4:17 - "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all."

Many are times we go through things that it will seem as though it is going to be forever. But, thanks be to God that it is only momentrally. Yes! our present troubles, our challenges, the pains, all the unpleasant things you've been going through are small and won't last very long. And they will produce for you a glory that greatly outweighs them all and that will last forever.

It brings out a more excellent person in you. It is Molding and packaging you into an outstanding personality. So, whatever you are going through right now is not going to last, it will pass because it is temporary. Peter admonished us, "And the God of all grace, who called you unto his eternal glory in Christ, after that ye have suffered a little while, shall himself perfect, establish, strengthen you." 1 Peter 5:10

The gracious Lord has not called us to perpetually dwell in challenges, sorrow, affliction and all such likes; neither does he bring affection to us. They are there because the enemy of Christ and of our faith continually fights against us. But, in Christ we are already overcomers of them all and through our fight of faith we established the victory in our lives.

 Therefore do not fear neither be anxious, you are a winner and more than a conqueror. Moreover, There's a greater glory to attain because in comparison, the "light and momentary affliction" cannot be compared with the glory that is about to unfold in your life.

 Understand that for every shame, for every pain, for every disappointment, for every challenge and for every affliction there's a greater glory ready and waiting to be revealed. So, don't be worried over anything, look beyond the affliction, see the glory.


PRAYER 

Heavenly father thank you for your word, thank you for the great and marvelous things you are doing and will continue to do. By your Spirit, I throw down every stronghold of affections in my life, family, career and business in Jesus name, Amen
