 RULE YOUR WORLD


MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 115:16 - "The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men"

The mindset of this world is not ours has made many to lose sight of God's original mandate and duty of man to master over the earth and all it's creations. Our text today reminds us that God has given us the earth to run, to take care of, and to manage on his behalf.

He created and empowered us for this very purpose, which is, to govern, rule or be master's over all his creations on earth. Wherefore, in Genesis 1:28 the scripture says, "Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it." (NLT)

As a result, we are God's stewards, entrusted by Him with opportunities, abilities and possessions, and the blessings of the earth and its resources. We are responsible to Him for their proper management and use. Our heavenly Father is the owner of the earth and hath given it to us to have dominion over it and own it.

 Wherefore, in Psalm 8:4 & 6 the Psalmist declared, "What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit[a] him?... You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet." So, while you on this earth, take charge and rule over everything for all things are yours in Christ.


 PRAYER

Holy father I am grateful for the opportunity given to me to govern the earth. Thank you for the right to rule and be master's over everything you made, and by your wisdom I rule in Jesus name, Amen

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
