YOUR PERSPECTIVE OF GOD

MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 95:3 - “For Yahweh is a great God, a great King above all gods.”

How do you view God?

 The way you view God determines everything about your lives in this world. If you see him as a God who is limited to doing some certain things but cannot do some others, then your success and achievements in life will also be limited. To have a right view of God, you need to be a man or a woman of relationship with Him.

What differentiates the religious man and the Christian who dwells in relationship with God is their view about God. One who have a right view of God understands the personality of God more perfectly and so develops a deep affection for fellowship with Him thus you will be building a strong relationship with Him.

One affection we should have as believers is to get to know more and more about God, about His Uniqueness, for He is infinitely above all. About His Gloriousness, as He is glorious in all His ways. About His Unchangeable personality, and His greatness in power.

 The more you fellowship with Him, the more He reveals Himself to you. In that way, you will become more like Him and will begin to see things as He sees. Now the scripture says, “For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens” (Psalm 96:4–5).

Certainly, we cannot even begin to compare our God with other gods because the Lord God in His glorious nature is too big to be compared with idols. For He is Infinite, Immeasurable, Inestimable, Limitless, and Great. Through His infinite power we are able to rule our world and reign in life


PRAYER

Thank you, heavenly Father, for who you are. From this day, I cease from limiting you and I begin to see your infinite personality and greatness. in Jesus’ name, Amen

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
