CAPTIVITY LED CAPTIVE

MEMORY VERSE: - Ephesians 4:8 - "When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men,"

Jesus overcame the complete power of Satan, right and authority over mankind. He released the prisoners that were held captive by the wicked ones. He set their spirit, soul and their entire life in evil hold free and blessed them. 

No one should be legally held captive by Satan, poverty, sickness or disease. Rather, they are to take their stand in what Christ has done for them proclaim their freedom and live thereby.

Wherefore, the scripture in Psalm 234:6-7 said, "Blessed be the Lord , who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped."

The devil is the fowler, he traps souls of men and women in his evil spiritual prison and keep them from functioning in the capacity they ought to function and from succeeding in life. No one who is trapped in a place can excel and for anyone to live the kingly and priestly life they must be set free from the fowlers hold.

Christ has given us the power and all the authority to put out the works of the fowler. and live the triumphant life. For we are triumphant, conquerors, and overcomers in this life because Christ conquered and led captivity captive.

Jesus ascended up and gave gifts (peace, love, joy, righteousness, eternal life, etc.)unto His children. Therefore, do not live in defeat nor mediocre, arise and set up a standard. Besides, He also gave the church gifts when He sent the Holy Spirit to them for the kingdom work here on earth.


PRAYER

Thank you heavenly Father for releasing us from captivities of the wicked and for blessing me, in Jesus name, Amen.
