TRUST IN THE LORD 5

MEMORY VERSE: - Proverbs 3:6 - "In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths."

Finally, we have come to the concluding part of this topic; here we can see that when we put our confidence in the Lord, then He will begin to lead us in the way to follow, “And he shall direct your part.”

And the scripture says, “The steps of the righteous man are ordered by the Lord. Psalms 37:23. Similarly, Proverbs 16:9 says, “A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his paths” When we consider our walk here on earth and the challenges that comes our way, we need to commit all things into the Lord’s hand so that He will guide and carry us through grace to the place of fulfillment.

No one can achieve anything outside God. It is through Him that you are able to do all things, it is through Him that you are able to walk in the paths of righteousness, through Him; you are able to function in your purpose and destiny. As it is written, “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” Psalm 127:1

Therefore, beloved, learn to put your trust in the Lord, never lean on your own understanding, acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will certainly make our paths straight.


PRAYER

Thank you Lord for always directing my steps and lightning my paths, I hereby declare that my paths are shinning brighter and brighter each day in Jesus name, Amen.

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
