PERFECT PEACE


MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 26:3 - "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee"

The Scripture tells us that we are to experience and enjoy God’s perfect peace in our lives. Assuredly, God’s perfect peace is available to us. It is His will that we have this perfect peace. Not just peace but His perfect peace which is total, complete and absolute peace. It is a peace that comes through Him and Him alone. 

No other peace can be compared with God’s perfect peace. The peace that the world offers are not true peace and it's imperfect but perfect peace is only from the Lord. Now, how do we enjoy God's perfect peace? Certainly our heavenly Father will always do His part if we will do our part. His part is to keep us in perfect peace. Our part is, to keep our minds stayed on Him and to trust completely in Him. 

To keep your mind stayed on Him, you must always keep your mind focused on God’s Word. Secondly, you must have discipline mind by not letting your mind wander away from the Word. Moreover, learn to meditate on God's word, ponder your mind on his graciousness, goodness and unfailing love.

Oftentimes, we do exactly the opposite, when we’re faced with crisis or situations we keep our minds primarily "stayed" on the problems that is before us instead of on God. We turn these problems over and over in our minds, focusing on them constantly. We worry about whether we can solve these problems. Thus we do exactly the opposite of God’s requirements for perfect peace. We must keep our mind focus on Christ so as to keep enjoying God's perfect peace.

PRAYER
From this day, I declare that my mind is stayed on God’s Word and I begin to enjoy His perfect peace in every area of my life. Struggling have no place in my life, because I have entered God’s rest, in Jesus name, Amen.

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
