STOP WORRYING

MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 55:22 - “Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved" (ESV)

Being anxious helps no one, rather it promotes health issues. As a believer, we are not permitted to live a worrisome life but are to cast our cares and burdens upon the Lord. Assuredly, anxiety brings old age before its time. When you surrender all your anxiety into God's hands, He will take care of you and your every need. Certainly, He will help you through the tough times.

The scripture in Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Now, to be still is to be calm, not being anxious, not getting worried, be quiet, stop fighting or striving with yourself and recognize that I am God. in other words, do not recognize challenges as important any more, Instead recognize Him.

 Stop giving attention to the enemy any more, rather recognize Him who is able to help and deliver you, make Him of uttermost important in your life. Understand that you recognize the devil when you see his Activities as paramount in your life, when you're so choked up by the situations around. It's true those things are there but pretend as though they are not and trust in the Lord your God to take care of them for you.

Jeremiah 17:7 says, "Happy are those who trust in the Lord, who rely on the Lord." Don't allow the enemy to trap you in the realm of unhappiness.... Find your happiness, peace and rest by trusting in the Lord. And so, relax, put off every agitation, quench the fire of worrying, and give the spirit of the Lord a chance in your life to work for you. Don't get in His, but allow Him to function the way He wants to, and He will be exalted in your life.


PRAYER

Thank you, Lord, for always caring for me. From today onward, I stop worrying over anything, I begin to trust you for every detail of my life in Jesus’ name, Amen.
