THE LORD IS GOOD

MEMORY VERSE: - Nahum 1:7 - "The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him."

Our Heavenly Father is the epitome of goodness; He is at all times good to those who put their trust in Him. Unto His children, He is a refuge, and a mighty fortress. He is a stronghold against the troubles of this world and He continually gives them protection and security. He does these because He's a good God, a loving and caring Father who wants the best for His children and wants them happy. 

Wherefore, the psalmist made us to understand in Psalm 107:1 that "the Lord is good" And because of His goodness, He does not hold back any good thing from us. Psalm 84:11 tells us, "For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly."

Oh, Hallelujah! He bestows favor and honor. He makes the rejected to be accepted, He makes the insignificant to become significant, and He mends every broken heart and broken things in our life. And gives us the best of the earth.

 Truly the Lord is good and He is merciful, kind, gracious, and very loving. It is because of His goodness that He gave up His Son for our justification; so we can live the good life in this world, and enjoy life of abundance. "All things that pertain to life and godliness" as declared in 2 Peter 1:3 is our portion in Christ, so we are to experience His deepest joy and benefits as His children. 

And the more we grow in the knowledge and love of God the more His goodness will be increasingly experienced in our life. Certainly, for all those who trust and wait on Him, He will surely come and be glorified in their lives. For His mercy never fails and his goodness is from generation to generation.


PRAYER

Thank you Holy Father for being so good to me. Thank you for the abundant life, thank you for your protection and security given to me, in Jesus name, Amen.

Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately.
