MAINTAIN A LIVING CONNECTION WITH GOD

MEMORY VERSE: - John 15:4 - "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me."

Every vision or goal that is connected to one's purpose is achievable as long as one has God by his or her side. All you need to do in order to achieve is to continually stay connected to God who alone is the source of our success in life.

The heavenly Father has given us the Holy Spirit to help and guide us in all our ways. Wherefore, there is need for you to maintain a living connection with the Holy Spirit that you may be fruitful in all your ways. When something is living, it is active, it has life in it. So, living connection is active connection.  

To maintain a living connection with God, you need to develop a relationship with Him. Secondly, spend time with Him through prayer and by reading His word. The greatest way to create and maintain a relationship with anyone is through communication, and prayer is the means through which we communicate with God.

Oftentimes, life challenges beings us so much distraction from developing such bond with God but with self discipline and determined mind, we can do that which we know it's a way forward to reaching our ordained destiny. There is greater glory to attain, God has so much in store for you but only in maintaining a living connection with Him will bring you into experiencing His living glory.


PRAYER 

Thank you father for who you are. You are the living God and love you. This day, I pray that you open the eyes of my heart to build a strong bond in relationship with you through your Holy Spirit in Jesus name, Amen.

But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
