GOD'S WORD IS THE ONLY TRUTH

MEMORY VERSE: - John 17:17 - “Sanctify them through thy truth; thy word is truth”


God and His Word are one, God’s Word is the only real truth and His Word is life. Jesus says, “The words that I speak unto you there are spirit and there are life”. [John 6:63]. We must reject all human logic, Satan's lies and deception of situations and believe God’s Word of promises concerning us. 

Understand that everything outside God's Word is a lie no matter how it looks like true. The only truth is what the Word says concerning you and I. The Word is active, operative and powerful thus it is able to break through any obstacle to bring about the expected result. Therefore, we must "Hold our first confidence [on the word of God] firm to the end" (Hebrews 3:14) and grow strong in our faith by continually giving glory to our God.

We must be like Abraham who having received the Word of God’s promise, refused to allow anything to distract him from faith but held on to the end; we must also not waver but hold on to the word that can never fail.

The scripture says, "No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God and he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God, fully convinced that God was able to do what he promised" (Romans 4:20-21). Focus your mind on God’s word of truth for whosoever that focuses on the word is indestructible. 

If we could actually take the Word of God and believe it according to what it says, we can come to only one conclusion; and that is the truth that every promises of God spoken regarding the believer is still available today; it's still in effect and has not been revoked or cancelled therefore can still be accessed by all of God’s children.

If God has said it, then it is settled; believe it and stand on the word. Do not allow situations to rule you for situations are always deceitful but God’s word is YES and AMEN.


PRAYER 

Thank you Father for your Word that is ever living and active. O' Lord my God, your Word is forever settled. Let things fall in place in my life according as you have declared concerning me in Jesus name, Amen.
