GOD CANNOT LIE

MEMORY VERSE: - Numbers 23:19 - “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?"

Can a mankind lie? Yes! this is what they do on regular basis. They will say one thing and do another. Man will make promises and will not keep them, man will deceive you, trick you, cheat you for his/her own advantage. Today, many relationships and marriages are in shambles, divorce is on the high due to deception and promises that are not kept.

Notwithstanding, God cannot deceive you and He will never and can never lie to you. Paul made us to understand that, "it is impossible for Jahovah God to lie." (Hebrews 6:18).

Over and over again we see in the Word that "nothing is impossible with God" But now, Paul is making us know that there's something that is impossible with God and it is, "He cannot lie." We were told that in Joshua 21:45 that “Not one of all the LORD's good promises to Israel failed; everyone was fulfilled.” 

God is faithful [truthful, authentic, trustworthy, reliable, and dependable]. God is unchangeable [unvarying, constant, unmovable and consistent]. And He is unshakeable. No condition of the world can make God change from performing His promises to his children, the only person that can stop you from receiving is you and that is when you refuse to believe or key into God’s promises.

All the promises of God are true and trustworthy. He doesn’t say one thing and mean another. If He promised it, He will do it. God himself declares in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my Word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”

PRAYER 
Holy Father I thank you for who you are. You do not change and you do not fail. What you say you will do, that you will do. Therefore, I pray this day that you perform your promises in my life in Jesus name, Amen.
