ACCUSER OF THE BRETHREN 4

MEMORY VERSE: - - Jude 1:9 - "But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil (Satan), and arguing about the body of Moses, did not dare bring an abusive condemnation against him, but [simply] said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

Now, this accuser never stops until you stop him. Look at how he stood against Moses even in death he still went after him. And stood against his body from ascending to God's glorious presence. But thank God for the angel who never gave up but disputed with him and conquered him.

Oh, beloved, you don't give up for the accuser but you counter him with the Word. You stand on what God has written concerning you and contend with him and take what's rightfully yours in Christ. That is to say, you bring forth your strong reasons and silent him and release yourself and all that is yours from his bondage. 

Now, the reason for which the devil stood against Moses body was deu to his disobedience to God's instructions at the rock. You will recall that God told him and Aaron to speak to the rock but instead they struck the rock. Thus, God was angry with them because by their disobedience, they did not sanctify Him before the people (See Numbers 20:9-12). Moses took God's grace for granted.

Now, we must be careful how we do things, we must watch out for too much of familiarity with God thereby take His grace for granted. We must not make ourselves more important than God because of little gift and take His glory thus, making room for the accuser to have legal rights in our life. 

Every disobedience is a sin and sin gives the accuser something to use against you. We read in Zechariah 3:3-5 how Joshua the high priest was clothed with filthy garments, because of sin. And the devil was standing by his side to resist him, and to hinder good things from coming to him. Sin will delay or stop you from functioning in your destiny and rob you of blessings of life.


PRAYER 

Most Holy Father, I thank you. This day I pray that by your power, you take out of my life any filthiness in me that is giving right to the accuser, in the name of Jesus, Amen!!
