GUIDE AGAINST ROOT OF BITTERNESS


MEMORY VERSE: - Hebrews 12:15 - "Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled."

Root of bitterness is that avenue through which the enemy uses to gets into one's life.... Get to enter family and cause havock.... It's that opening through which they use to creep into one's finances, marriages, businesses etc and begin to destroy and if care is not taken, will wipe them out.

 “Bitterness” is usually associated with anger and grudges. Therefore, once there's a root of bitterness in you, it begins to bear fruits of bitterness. Fruits such as hatred and grudges will lay hold of your heart, unforgiveness will rise up in you and you will become unsatisfied no matter what is done to please you and will have ingratitude. 

Moreover, you will begin to find fault in everything, read meaning into everything that people say or do. Hence, you will begin to apportion blame on everyone's action. And you will begin to feel the victim and will start having self-pity. Furthermore, you will want to see bad things happen to those you are bitter against. 

Thus, you will unknowingly practice wickedness which is witchcraft. Beloved, you must put a watch over your heart against root of bitterness. You must be careful not to allow things get to you in such a way that bitterness would lay hold on you.

PRAYER
I'm so glad that you love me Lord and I thank you for all you've done in my life. This day, I curse every root of bitterness in my heart and I loose myself from it's hold in Jesus name, Amen
