RENEW YOUR MIND TO PROSPER


MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 37:25 - "I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread”
 
Prosperity is a mindset, it's psychological, it's from your intellectual, and it begins from within you. When you have wrong mindset you make poor choices but when you have right mindset, you make excellent choices. I tell you, feel prosperity from within and you will enjoy living a life of abundance; but feel poverty from within and you will enjoy great fellowship with insufficiency, and will live a beggarly and penniless life. 

Most people are in the prison of poverty today because of poverty mentality, their thinking faculty is sick and thus they act as they think. Mindset of poverty has put a lot of people in the web of lack and want and has turned them into glorified beggars. They do not want prosperity because it's worldly, yet when they are in need they go begging those who have it. It is absolutely unchristian for a child of God to live a beggarly life.

The psalmist in our text says, “The righteous are not forsaken, neither does their seed beg food”. This is because God prospers' them, he gives them more than enough. In that verse the psalmist wasn't talking like a novice but shared his experience and observation. He has gone through so much in life and have also seen in the progression of life's journey with all the righteous he has known that none was forsaken by God thus he could boldly testify of God's faithfulness. 

Firstly, “They are not forsaken” God is ever with them in all their journey of life. No matter what the enemy throws their way, they are overcomers in all. God provides them with all that they need for their nourishment and comfort in life. 

Secondly, "His seed do not beg bread" their blessings go beyond them, it extend to their seeds: because of the coverage of God's grace and blessedness that is eternal. Just as Isaac enjoyed Abrahamic coverage of covenant blessings hence he prospered greatly in the land of Gerar. (See Genesis 26: 3, 5).

PRAYER
Father God, thank you for your blessing of prosperity. This day, I declare that I am a success, I am prosperous in all things in Jesus name, Amen!!
