DESTROYING THE YOKE OF CURSES 3


MEMORY VERSE: - Deuteronomy 33:6 - "Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few."

Now, Ruben's curse did not end with him but went on from generation to generation. His family was reducing rather than increasing. Prosperity and everything good was eluding them. 

In 1 Chronicles 5:1, we see Ruben's generation's right taken away from them and given to the children of Joseph. "Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father's bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright"

Oh, Ruben, Ruben, Ruben, look at how you who ought be the head became the tail. Just like David said, "How are the mighty fallen" (2 Samuel 1.25). Similarly, Solomon declared, "There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler" (Ecclesiastes 10:5). 

Surely, Ruben was born to be a ruler over his father's house and the nation of Israel but he became a nobody, the least in the family instead of the leader - It's indeed an error from the ruler, 'how are the mighty fallen'.

Wherefore, he who ought to seat in high places, was made low..... And verse 6 of Ecclesiastes 10 tells us, "Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place" and continuing in vs 7 he says, "I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth." This is what unbroken curses can do in people's lives. You must rise against curses and put it out completely. Never give up until it's totally wiped out. 

So, Moses revoked the curse over Ruben's generation by decreeing another decree over them, "Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few." This day, I revoke every evil invocation over your life; I declare that your men will not be few, you will not end small, you shall achieve greatness in life.

PRAYER
Thank you Lord for the cleansing power in the blood of Jesus. This day, I revoke and flush out every generational curses operational in my bloodline in Yeshua's name, Amen!!
