GOD IS WITH US


MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 8:10 - “Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us"

God is not only with us, but He is in us and he is for us. He lives in His children and he is in agreement with us and supports us. For that reason he said in Matthew 18:18, "I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven"

So, God is with us, He has always been with us, He will always be with us…and He is with us even now. Someone may say, if God is with us why do we have troubles? Understand that He never said that troubles will not come but said, he delivers us from them all (See Psalm 34:19). Furthermore, Jesus said, "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16:33

Our memory verse in Isaiah did not say that the enemy will not try to do something bad against us but clearly said they will not succeed. So, they will "take counsel together, and it shall come to nought, speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us" Alleluia!! Yes, whatever they do shall be brought to naught by the power of God.

And so, God is with us in times of challenges, in difficult times, and in times of trials and temptation. He is with us in our joy, in times of harvest, when increase comes, He is with us at all times. And because God is with us, there's nothing that the wicked ones can do to us. They can't hurt us nor harm us because He who is with us will not allow them to do so.

Paul also echoed it in Romans 8:31, "If God is for us, who can be against us?” Who can harm us, who can stand against us nor stop us from reaching our God given purpose. No power of hell, no scheme of men can stop us from achieving destiny. You are unstoppable.

PRAYER
Glorious God, I am grateful for your ever presence in my life, thank you for not turning your back on me in spite of my short comings, Amen.
