AVOID DISTRACTIONS 2

MEMORY VERSE: - Luke 9:62 - “Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God” (TLB).

Distraction is one of the dangerous weapons of the devil against God's children especially in the area of prayer. It's so easy to use it on them because it can't be easily identified as satanic operation. It mostly comes with busyness in so much that it keeps you so occupied with things to the point that you will not have time to commune with God.

He knows that with uninterrupted communion with God, you are unstoppable so he uses distractions to keep you out of it. In 1 Kings 20:39-40 there was an Illustration of a man who was given someone to guard with a stance warning that he must not allow the man to be missing. Because if for any reason he is missing, then he will pay with his life. 

But what did he do? He allowed himself to be distracted and lost what was delivered into his hand to keep and guard. Look at what he said, "But while your servant was busy here and there, the man disappeared.” Are you like this man, you are busy here and there, in so much that you do have time for your God, your family and even yourself? It's time to wake up.

Your destiny is in your hands to keep and guard with your life, don't allow distractions to creep in and play you out of achieving it. Here are some of the ways to avoid distractions is: 1. Have a self disciplined life. 2. Have a plan for your day. 3. Stay focused.

If you want to reign in life, you must strive against distractions because when you give in to it, certainly, it will rob you of your divine mandate. Moreover, God will require of you why you allowed yourself to be distracted. You must be cautious, vigilant and be careful of it. So, child of God, pay close attention to yourself and guard against every form of distraction.


PRAYER

My Father and my God, I exalt you today. From this day onward, I will focused my mind on you that I may not be distracted in Jesus name, Amen.
