AVOID DISTRACTION

MEMORY VERSE: - Luke 9:62 - “Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God” (TLB).

What is a distraction? It is a something that prevents concentration. A diversion, or an Extreme agitation of the mind. Distractions destroys destiny and prevents one from living the Victorious life in Christ. 

The main purpose of the devil is to distract us. To take us away from our God given divine destiny and purpose. We must by all means resist him and refuse to get distracted from our course.

James admonished, "So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you." (James 4:7 AMP). Furthermore, Peter tells us that "Our adversary the devil, goes about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" and he advice us to "resist him and be firm in the faith" (See 1 Peter 5:8-9).

The devil is not a friend to anyone, he's an adversary, an enemy of ones' Glory. All he does day and night is to scheme his way into people's life to steal their vision, goals and plans by distracting and diverting them from it.

Although most people would want God to do it for them but He won't. This is what you must do yourself because you have what it takes to resist him inside of you, therefore, it's time to arise in faith and say no to distractions. 

Look at our memory verse again, it says, “Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God.” It is one who did not resist that allowed himself or herself to be distracted and the said such a person is not befitting for the kingdom. 

Listen, No matter how small a fire is, you don't play around with it otherwise it will burn you. Allowing distractions is like playing with a fire.... It will ruin your entire life.


PRAYER

I praise you mighty God for your graciousness towards me. And this day I break loose from every spirit assigned against me to distract me in life in Jesus name, Amen.
