ESTABLISHING THE WORD

MEMORY VERSE: - Romans 3:31 - "Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law."

They are many who are in the church but are fruitless both spiritually and physically because they do not take their stand in God's Word to establish them in their lives. Child of God, understand that God has given us His Word and it's our duty to establish the promises of God in our life through our faith.

The word ‘establish' means to cause or make to stand, to place, put, or to set. It also means to establish a thing, cause it to stand. To make firm. to set or place in a balance. We can't keep accepting defeat and packing up.... We can't continue to loose territories that we ought to take for God in the hands of the enemy.

We must arise and take charge, make good or proper use of God's Word at our disposal, take up our authority and take possession of every lost territory of our blessings. Matthew 6:10 says, "Let your kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is done in heaven."

Enough of self-pity, enough of murmuring and complaining. Enough of crying over situations, it's time to wake up to the realities of God's Word for you and begin to establish it in your life, family, business, health etc.

Now, you can't know what the Word of God says about you or any challenge you might be going through if you do not go to the Word and read it. Every situation has a Word that will take care of it. So, rather than going about in confusion go to the Word, study it daily, and you will find rest.


PRAYER

Holy Father, thank you for giving us your Word. This day I arise from laziness that keeps me away from studying your Word and I receive grace to study in Jesus name, Amen.
