NO EMPTY-HANDEDNESS IN CHRIST 2

NO EMPTY-HANDEDNESS IN CHRIST 2

MEMORY VERSE: - Exodus 3:21 - "I will grant this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be that when you go, you will not go empty-handed."

God is against emptiness, He even warned that we shouldn't appear in His presence empty-handed. In Deuteronomy 16:15-16, the scripture reveals that ".... the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce and in all the works of your hands.... Three times a year shall all your males appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses..... They shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed:" (AMP).

The reason why the Lord commanded us not to come empty-handed before Him, is because His blessing that causes us to have all that we need for life is in us, wherefore, verse 17 says, "Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which He has given you" None is without a seed, there's always a seed to come before the presence of the Lord.

Listen, an Empty life is a cursed life because it is void of God's goodness, it is not showcasing magnificent, awesomeness, lovingkindness and the goodwill of God towards His children. Every curse written in Deuteronomy 28, shows a life void of favour and blessings of God.

God is disappointed at most believer's inability to produce fruits of His blessings upon their life; just as Jesus was disappointed at the inability of the fig tree to produce fruits in spite of it having all the potential to do so. Although in the real sense it was not figs time of production but that particular fig tree was exceptional.

The scripture said "the fig tree had leaves"(Matthew 21:19). Studying the characteristics of fig trees. The fruit of the fig tree generally appears before the leaves. The Lord had chosen it to show that when His grace and favor is upon anything, protocols are broken.

So, the fig having leaves means it ought to have fruits on it but due to its failure to produce according as God's grace bestowed on it, it was cursed. Nothing takes God by surprise, He knew Jesus was going to pass through that road and would be needing fruit from the fig tree, hence he was giving the ability to produce.

Now, the grace of God had set it apart to broke the norm code but the fig tree did not allow itself to go beyond the norm, and key into the realm of the uncommon things. May you not miss your moment.

 PRAYER
Father Lord, I am grateful for another day, and as I go through it, I will be fruitful, multiple and increase in it in the name of Jesus, Amen.
