Living our lives as a living sacrifice has great impact on our relationship with God. In his letter to the Galatians, Paul says, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” The believer's life is an offering to God. It is consecrated and set apart for God. As a result, we no longer live to please ourselves but to please God. Oh! How we would have love to revenge on those acts of wickedness done to us, how pleasing it would have been to pay back evil for evil: but that's in the old man. Jesus always demands for our all in our walk with Him. He does not want a partial commitment but our total surrendering to Him. Wherefore, we are called upon to  "offer ourselves a living sacrifice to God."  That is, to give up our selfish satisfaction and desires for the living God. To live a life that is worthy and acceptable to God. Sacrifice is defined as “Anything consecrated and offered to God." Thus, we must consecrate ourselves and be yielded to God as an instrument of righteousness. We are to sacrifice our feelings, selfish ambitions, motives etc to serve the living God. When the enemy tampers with someone's life, they promote setbacks.... They keep their victims stagnanted and cause them to struggle to survive. Many are not where they ought to be, they are living the low life because of the activities of the wicked.  Those who are supposed to be the head are living the tail life due to the works of the wicked.   AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational DISAPPOINTING THE EXPECTATIONS OF THE WICKED MEMORY VERSE: - Acts 12:11 - "And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the LORD hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews" After locking Peter up in prison, Herod and the Jewish people were expecting to see Peter executed like he did James but the Lord frustrated their plans and disappointed their expectations over Peter's life when he miraculously brought him out of prison. Also in Daniel chapter 6, we saw how Daniel's enemies tried to put an end to his life by casting him into the lion's den but God frustrated their efforts and disappointed them.
