GUARD AGAINST PERPETUAL SLUMBER 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Matthew 25:5,13 - "While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." As a child of God, you should not allow situations to have upper hand in your life, you must rule over all things that comes your way. Understand that unpleasant things happens to everyone in life which causes slumber but only those who are able to take their stand in Christ, those who stay focus and fully prepared can overcome and eventually see the glory of the Master. The scripture says they all slumber and slept due to the delay of the Master. To slumber is to be wearied or tired. Everyone can but wearied at the time of waiting and the manifestation seemed to be delayed, but not all remain there or allow it to overwhelm them. PATH OF LIFE MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 16:11 - "For thou wilt show me the path of life, in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore." One of the scriptures I love so much is Psalm 16:11 , it shows us how we are not alone because God is with us. And He carefully and lovingly guide us through the right path of life, helping us make important life decisions so that we will not go into delusion. No one can go through life journey alone, we all need the divine presence to guide us and lead us through the right path in order not to miss it. "The earth is the Lord's and everything in it"(Psalm 24:1,2) , he knows the way that is right for everyone of us to reach our destiny and fulfill purpose and we must yield to Him in humility to show us and lead us through the right path. GUARD AGAINST ROOT OF BITTERNESS 3 MEMORY VERSE: - Hebrews 12:15 - "Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled." The enemy cannot come in unless he finds an opening and bitterness is one major opening point for him. You open the door for root of bitternessl through many ways one of which is unforgiveness. Jesus told us, “Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses” (Mark 11:25-26) Unforgiveness stands as a barrier to one's prayers. You can pray innumerable prayers, fast many days, the truth still remains that God will not hear your prayers when you have unforgiveness in your life. Our text says root of bitterness brings about defilement and we know that whoever that is defiled cannot stand before the presence of Jahovah God. You can see how dangerous it is to allow it to lay hold on you, it will dent your relationship with God and cause a separation from him.  Certainly, for us to lead a true Christian life, we must put a watch over our hearts against root of bitterness. This is why the scripture in Proverbs 4:23 says we should guard our hearts, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." To guard here is to watch, to keep in check, to be vigilant, to be alert, and to be careful. Root of bitterness is that avenue through which the enemy uses to gets into one's life.... Get to enter family and cause havock.... It's that opening through which they use to creep into one's finances, marriages, businesses etc and begin to destroy and if care is not taken, will wipe them out.   “Bitterness” is usually associated with anger and grudges. Therefore, once there's a root of bitterness in you, it begins to bear fruits of bitterness. BREAKING FORTH ON ALL SIDES 3 MEMORY VERSE: -  Isaiah 54:3 - "For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited." In part 2 of this series we saw that we are to strategies ourselves by expanding our space. Now, why is it important that we expand our space? Verse 3 of that Isaiah 54 tells us the reason for it.... Another thing we need to do in order to strategies ourselves for breakthrough is found in verse 2 of Isaiah 54 , and it reads, "Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes" To enlarge here is talking about 'creating more space' 'expand your space' 'make it bigger' take out stuffs that are not needed and are occupying space, make room because Something huge is coming and you have to position yourself to receive it....  We must understand that God is not a man that is limited to what he can do and cannot do.
