BE STILL 1

BE STILL MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 46:10 - “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” There are times in life when we are faced with such awkward moments that makes our world spins and our hearts sored in confusion and anxiety creeps in. However, our heavenly Father tells us to be still in the midst of storms because He will help us, and he will save us. To be still in Psalm 40:10, is to relax, to rest, to be at peace within you in the midst of storms. Oftentimes, this is the last thing anyone will want to do when their world is falling apart and it seems like they have no control of a situation. They will rather choose to worry and be all worked up. Furthermore, God telling us to 'be still' is saying stay in me, take your refuge in my promises that is ever true, let your heart not be troubled over anything, lean on me, trust me to help you and deliver you from your predicament. GOD IS ABLE 3 MEMORY VERSE: - Ephesians 3:20 - “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." Now let us look at the next thing that Paul says God is able to do for us in this text in Ephesians 3:20.... He is able to do all that we 'Imagine'. The place of imagination cannot be neglected in the journey of life. Imagination carries such a great power that brings about the reality of God's promises. Imagination is the act or power of forming a mental image of something not present to the senses or never before wholly perceived in reality. It is the ability of the mind to be creative or resourceful. A lot of people do not use the this ability of the mind, on the other hand, most people use it negatively, they only imagine bad things happening around them. GOD IS ABLE 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Ephesians 3:20 - "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." Our text further said, "God is able to do more than we ASK" . You have to ask in order for God to have something to work with. It's a pity that some believers do not bother to ask, they believe that God knows what their needs are and so it is left for Him to either do something about it or leave them in their needs. It's true that God knows your needs but He has given you the right to make your request. We have the case of blind Bartimaeus, a man clearly seen by all that he was blind. Yet, when he got to Jesus, He requested to know what he wanted Him to do for him. “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” Mark 10:51. Why will Jesus asked him such question seeing clearly that he was blind? Is it not obvious that he needs a miracle

BREAKING FORTH ON ALL SIDES MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 54:3 - "For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited." You may have been having some certain levels of success, or it may be that things has been really hectic and rough: but today there's going to be a new breaking forth in your life, in your career, in your business, in your finance etc. However, while we are looking forward to breaking forth, it's important to be prepared for what's coming. And so the scripture in Isaiah 54:2 says, "Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes." Something huge is coming and we are being told to get ready for it. To to create space for it, to be adequately prepared for it so that you don't miss it when it comes. KEEP MOVING FORWARD MEMORY VERSE: - Philippians 3:13 - “Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead" There are some who get to a point in life and get tired of moving, thus, they settled there. Especially when they have been trying and things are not working out as expected they give up and accept it as their fate.  In Christ, we are not of them that give up nor settle for lesser than we are meant to be. God has destined you for the best, you are destined to win and reign in life. Therefore, settling for the less is not an option. PUT YOUR LIGHT ON 3 MEMORY VERSE: - Matthew 5:14 - “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden" Another thing that will help our light to shine brighter and brighter is building a strong relationship with the Holy Spirit. He is the secret key to keeping our light shining and ever increasing.  There can be no fellowship with the Father and the Son without the communion with the Holy Spirit, hence we must develop the habit of constant communion with the Holy Spirit. You can't be a child of God and have darkness in you. God is the source of the light in us and it will be unchristian to think you are in darkness in Him. Wherefore John wrote, "This then is the message which we have heard from Him and declare unto you: that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all" (1 John 1:5).   PUT YOUR LIGHT ON 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Matthew 5:14 - “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden" Understand that your light cannot remain in same frequency, it is expected that it shines brighter and brighter and continues to increase its brightness. Now, how do you do that? You increase the brightness of your light through knowledge of the Word of God. The scripture in Psalm 119:130 says, "The entrance and unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple" (AMPC).  The more of the Word you take in, the more brighter your light shines. Every Fresh insight ushers you into fresh light. It's a pity that some believers do not spend time to read the Word how much more to study it. Listen, brighter light leads to higher life....
