GIVE HIM NO REST

AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational   GIVE HIM NO REST MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 62: 6, 7 - “…Ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” Our text brings us a call unto prayers. As God’s children, we must not be silence, but must be a praying people. Our heavenly Father is never tired to listen to us neither is He displeased with us for being earnest in prayers. We are to wrestle as Jacob did, and not let him rest until He rest upon us the blessings. And like the saying goes, 'a closed mouth is a closed destiny'. Thus we must not keep silence, but must be persistent, demanding, determined, unrelenting with Him as the widow with the unjust judge did in Luke 18:1. Yes! We are to be ceaseless, unremitting, nonstop and never give up in prayer. Even as Paul admonished us in 1Thessalonias 5:17, “Pray without ceasing.” What is it that have been a burden to you? What is that dream, that desire

ALWAYS BE READY

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational ALWAYS BE READY MEMORY VERSE: - John 6:9 - “There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: ...” Preparation can be defined as the process which someone undertakes to achieve proper results. Preparation is important for success, so, if you want to achieve anything meaningful in life you must begin by getting yourself ready. As ministers, we should always be prepared whether it is for the next assignment from God or the next move of His greater glory, we must be ready to key into it. Not being ready has made many to miss a lot of opportunities. Our memory verse shows us that among over 5000 people, only one little boy came prepared and what he had was multiplied and become a blessing to thousands of people.  Look at it.... old men and women, youths, educated people, professors must have been among them but only one little boy went prepared. He didn't know how long the journey will take but he was ready to stay as long as it w

GRACE FOR GOOD WORKS

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational GRACE FOR GOOD WORKS MEMORY VERSE: - Ephesians. 2:10 - “For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Paul made us to know that “Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation” that is to say, they are new breeds, new species of beings. Why did God take out time to recreate us? Is it for us to continue in our old ways and live like everyone else in the world? The answer is no. God's purpose for recreating us is for us to be His representative on earth, to do His will, to live out His life on earth. Therefore, we are not recreated to live like every other person in the world; but to affect the world positively, to make a difference, to make impact through living a godly life. The power to do good works has been given to us; it is the grace of God which enables us to achieve what the ordinary man could not do. Peter in 1Peter 3:10 said, “Anyone that desires life and wants to see goo

HIS SHAME! YOUR HONOR

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational HIS SHAME! YOUR HONOR MEMORY VERSE: - Hebrews 12:2 - "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." The Lord Jesus felt a deep sense of “ shame ” and “ embarrassment ” in that horrific moment when He was being tortured for the sins of the world. But for the sake of the joy of you and I coming into the divine family and taking our rightful position in life, he endured the shame and took in all of it. Wherefore, He took our place of shame, reproach, mockery, and all manner of negatives.... Yes! he bore our shame in His body, He took it along with many other of our infirmities to the cross and there!  Yes right there on the cross shame was crucified, shame died and shame was buried in the tomb so that all those who will receive Him will no longer suffer shame of any kind. This was declared many years ago

WORSHIP IN SPIRIT 2

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational WORSHIP IN SPIRIT 2 MEMORY VERSE: - John 4:24 - “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" Oftentimes, people promote cultures, traditions of men and codes as a way of true worship, however that is not actually worship in spirit but an outward show. We know that God is a Spirit being, thus to worship Him in spirit, then, is to do something that is beyond the physical, something out of the ordinary. We are also to worship “in truth.” We cannot worship in spirit without having truth that guides us. Worshipping in truth means that our worship must be based on truth. Except we add truth to our worship, there can be no true worship in spirit. Both are necessary for pleasing and honouring God. To worship God in spirit and truth truly involves loving Him from the depth of our heart, mind and strength. It comes from having passion for God. Therefore true worship is connecting the whole heart to the awesomeness of God. Worship

WORSHIP IN SPIRI

NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational WORSHIP IN SPIRIT 1 MEMORY VERSE: - John 4:23 - “But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him." What does it mean to worship God in spirit? To worship God in spirit is to worship Him from our innermost being; it is to serve Him with reverence from the heart. It is a worship of faith and love. Worship in spirit is not about a place or building or ones personality or physical structure but in ones state of heart.  In the old, the ancient Jews worshipped God in symbols; like that of the ARK of covenant, but for the new creation man, there is no form of symbolic worship but a worship which flows from a true heart that is cleansed with the precious blood of Jesus. It's a pity that some christians practice image worship today with the so called Jesus picture. You must understand that the person who is used in those pictures is not our

SUFFICIENT GRACE

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational SUFFICIENT GRACE MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Corinthians 12:9 - “But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness .”  Sometimes when we are weak we feel it's not okay but actually it is okay to be weak for when we are weak then we trust in God's grace for strength, and we submit to God’s sovereignty.  The apostle Paul experienced a continuing weakness, a “thorn in the flesh” that God didn’t even remove instead, He said to him, "My grace is sufficient for you," Sometimes you pray for something and it doesn't come as expected, when that happens, you need to grasped God's sufficient grace to go on.  Sufficient grace means enough grace, it is having superabundant, never-ending, inexhaustible grace. in God’s economy, the more grace you need, the more grace you get. God supplies us with as much grace as we need for every situation we face.  Whatever your needs may be, you can rest in the truth that G
