YOU ARE NOT FORSAKEN

YOU ARE NOT FORSAKEN MEMORY VERSE: - Matthew 27:46 - "About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Jesus was in a huge situation and needed the heavenly father to save or rescue Him from it but help wasn't coming. Wherefore, He cried out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me", he was in serious pains and wanted to come out of it, thus, this cry came straight from the core of his pain. He was not truly forsaken for the Father was with him all through.  However, He had to allow Him go through it so that the process of humanity's salvation may be completed. Jesus's words and feeling of abandonment, are a direct reference to the first verse of Psalm 22. Here the psalmist cries, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me?” And the psalmist goes on to say, “I cry to you by day, but you do not answer; and by night, but find no r

KNOW YOUR GOD 3 MEMORY VERSE: - Matthew 16: 13 - "When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?" It does seem strange when we read in the scriptures that the disciples just did not understand who Jesus was. In fact, they were going back and forth in believing that he is the Christ. When he turned water into wine they believed and afterwards, had doubts again. (See John 2:11 ). Wherefore, Jesus rebuked them in Mark 8:21 "And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?” In John 12:37 John said, "But though He had performed so many signs before them, yet they were not believing in Him." And so in Matthew 16, the scripture told us that Jesus asked the disciples, "Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?" (Vs 13). And in the next verse, they told Him what the people were saying, "Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias,

KNOW YOUR GOD 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Daniel 11:32 - "And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries; but the people who do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits." We see the man Elisha who was a man that knew his God and did exploits.... He never saw impossibility in any case that came to him and through him, God did awesome miracles in his days. Even in his death, His bones brought a man that was death back to life. (See 2 Kgs 13:20–21) . In 2 Kings 6 , we read about how the king of Syria sent his armies to capture Elisha with their horses and chariots. They went just for one man as if they were going to war against a nation. And they came by night and surrounded the city, but Elisha was not afraid, rather, it was his servant who have not yet grown in the knowledge of God that was frightened, and he asked “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” However, his master Elisha who have walked closely with God was firm in his faith because he knew tha

KNOW YOUR GOD 1 MEMORY VERSE: - Daniel 11:32 - "And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries; but the people who do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits." It's not everyone who goes to church that know their God. In fact, many are actually in the church but do not know the God of the church. One must have knowledge of his or her God in order to trust him fully. The people that know their God do not fear nor bow nor surrender to the enemy in the face of adversity. They do not doubt what he can or cannot do: for they see possibility in all things no matter the hopelessness of the situation before them. They do not act cowardly nor bow to pressure of life. Like their heavenly Father, they see the end from the beginning, they see victory in every battle. They see Joy in every sorrow, and they see honor in every shame that the enemy bring their way. They are able to turn the enemy back from the gate and take possession of their territ

HE DIED THAT YOU MIGHT LIVE

HE DIED THAT YOU MIGHT LIVE MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Corinthians 5:15 - " He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves....." Christ died, not for himself, not because he felt like playing with death to see what it feels like to die. He died that we might live the right kind of life as ordained by the heavenly Father before the foundation of the world.  Yes, He who was with the father in all his glory in heaven, left all that glory to become a man of no reputation, and emptied himself for you and I so that we might have all that is ours in God the father. He became a man of sorrows and grief, that we might have fullness of joy.  He was a man that suffered rejection that we might be accepted in life. O' the scripture had this to say of Him, "He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. Like one from whom men hide their faces, He was despised, and we esteemed Him not." Isaiah 53:3. Now, no

GUARD AGAINST PERPETUAL SLUMBER 2

GUARD AGAINST PERPETUAL SLUMBER 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Matthew 25:5,13 - "While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." As a child of God, you should not allow situations to have upper hand in your life, you must rule over all things that comes your way. Understand that unpleasant things happens to everyone in life which causes slumber but only those who are able to take their stand in Christ, those who stay focus and fully prepared can overcome and eventually see the glory of the Master. The scripture says they all slumber and slept due to the delay of the Master. To slumber is to be wearied or tired. Everyone can but wearied at the time of waiting and the manifestation seemed to be delayed, but not all remain there or allow it to overwhelm them. You must be careful not to allow the moment of slumber to sweep you off your feet.  Do not throw in the towel when things are not ye

PATH OF LIFE

PATH OF LIFE MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 16:11 - "For thou wilt show me the path of life, in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore." One of the scriptures I love so much is Psalm 16:11 , it shows us how we are not alone because God is with us. And He carefully and lovingly guide us through the right path of life, helping us make important life decisions so that we will not go into delusion. No one can go through life journey alone, we all need the divine presence to guide us and lead us through the right path in order not to miss it. "The earth is the Lord's and everything in it"(Psalm 24:1,2) , he knows the way that is right for everyone of us to reach our destiny and fulfill purpose and we must yield to Him in humility to show us and lead us through the right path. The psalmist understood that the secret of living not just a successful life but an outstanding one is allowing God's presence to lead him through the rig
