PARTNERSHIP WITH GOD

Image
PARTNERSHIP WITH GOD MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Corinthians 6:1- "We then, as workers together with him..." What is partnership? It is two or more people being in a relationship to work together and achieve a goal. It is an agreement between organizations, people, etc. to work together. It is alliance with like-minded person or persons for a common goal. No one can have a successful life outside God. Partnering with God will stand you out and bring you before great men and women in life. When you partner with God you enter into rest because He will help you to achieve what ordinarily you cannot achieve by your own strength. The scripture in 1 Corinthians 3:7 says, "So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase" It is God that gives the increase not hard work. Partnership with God makes your journey of life easier. Certainly, you can't partner with God and fail in life.  Now, how can one partner with God? One of

THE BATTLE IS THE LORD'S

Image
THE BATTLE IS THE LORD'S MEMORY VERSE: - Chronicles 20:15b - "This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's." (NIV). This saying goes amongst believers, 'there are battles to fight and victories to win'. However, these battles are not fought by human's strength because what we are up against is not physical even as Paul told us, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12). Although many do not understand this spiritual realm of the Lord's battle hence, they tend to fight the battle by their strength.... In the book of Zechariah 4:6 The God said, "....Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit...." If the battle is the Lord's where then do we come in? Or does it mean we do nothing? Of co

CAST YOUR BURDENS ON THE LORD 2

Image
CAST YOUR BURDENS ON THE LORD 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 55:22 - "Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken.". Now, when we are talking about casting our burdens upon the Lord, many do not even know how to do so. They are perplexed and confused on how to go about it. But the word of God did not leave us clueless on how we can cast our burdens upon the Lord. Paul in Philippians 4:6 wrote, "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." (NLT). 1. Take It To God In Prayer. There's nothing that is impossible for a man or woman that prays. When we pray in faith, we position ourselves for the miraculous. The things that seems great before men are light or small in our eyes..... they are like soft potatoes that can be pressed down before us. Certainly, there's no mountain too high that cannot be made plain by prayer of faith. Ther

GOD IS WITH US

Image
GOD IS WITH US MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 8:10 - “Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us" God is not only with us, but He is in us and he is for us. He lives in His children and he is in agreement with us and supports us. For that reason he said in Matthew 18:18 , "I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven" So, God is with us, He has always been with us, He will always be with us…and He is with us even now. Someone may say, if God is with us why do we have troubles? Understand that He never said that troubles will not come but said, he delivers us from them all (See Psalm 34:19). Furthermore, Jesus said, "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." John 16:33 Our memory verse in Isaiah did not say that the enemy will not try to do something bad again

CAST YOUR BURDENS ON THE LORD

Image
CAST YOUR BURDENS ON THE LORD MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 55:22 - "Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken." To “Cast” in this verse means to throw, to shed, to fling or to give. So, the scripture admonish us to shed off our burdens, throw them out of our minds, and hand them over to the Lord to take care of things for us.  Certainly, everyone at a point in life get loaded down with burdens. For some, it is financial situation burden, some it is marital or relationship burden, some, it's emotional trauma burden, while for others, it's in their failing health etc.  When burdens are there, it hangs on us like a heavy weight, stealing our joy, happiness, peace and drains' our strength. Many are being choked with burdens because they are bearing it by themselves.  The Lord Jesus did not want us to bear our burdens in anyway but invites us to cast them all upon Him and he will give us His rest. "Come unto

GOD WILL FINISH WHAT HE STARTED

Image
GOD WILL FINISH WHAT HE STARTED MEMORY VERSE: - Philippians 1:6 - “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” God doesn't do anything halfway, whatever he starts, he brings it into a perfect end. They maybe distractions in the process, they maybe some forces contending with you to stop you from getting to the finishing point but they can't stop you because they cannot stop He who is involved in the affairs of your life.  Therefore, no matter what the enemy throws your way, have faith in God, refuse to be distracted, refuse to be frustrated by anyone but stay focused: for the Lord God in the midst of your life is mighty and greater than all. Who can contend with Him, who can withstand His great power. He promised you that he is with you always. “And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” (Matthew 28:20). And furthermore, in Hebrews 13:5 He said, "I will not leave you

BE SENSITIVE TO YOUR MOMENT 2

BE SENSITIVE TO YOUR MOMENT 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Luke 19:41-42 - “And when He was come near, He beheld the city, and wept over it, saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! But now they are hid from thine eyes” When you are insensitive to your visitation time, you will not be able to recognize your blessings when it comes in the way you do not expect it to come and you will miss it. Oh; how many have missed their moment, their season and their times of visitation due to religious spirit, wrong mindset and lack of understanding of their times and seasons. They have trusted God for something in their life and when the blessings finally comes in the package that they do n ot understand, they kick and reject it. Matthew 24:44 says, "For this reason you also must be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.”  The Lord’s visitation time is not as man’s timing and His package of blessings c
