THE PROMISES OF GOD

MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Corinthians 1:20 “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes and Amen, to the glory of God through us”.

The promises of God are not “YES” today then tomorrow “NO”. Neither are they “Maybe”. But are “YES! nothing short of Yes. The word “promise” or “promises” stands for a declaration, a vow, a pledge, a guarantee an undertaken, or an assurance that one will do a particular thing or declare that something will happen. Thus, all of God’s promises are sure because “God cannot lie.”

Because God’s promises are Yes and Amen, therefore He does not say NO to any prayer that is prayed in line with His will. Wherefore, John declared, “And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us" 1John 5:14.

Jesus in Revelation 3:14 said, He is the “Amen the faithful and true witness.” If Jesus is the Amen, it then means your case is settled already for Amen means “So be it.” It also means “It’s already done.” Therefore, what God has spoken concerning you is already done, you just have to call them forth and expect the visible manifestation.

We were told that “Not one of all the LORD's good promises to Israel failed; everyone was fulfilled.” [Joshua 21:45]. This is because “God cannot lie” (Titus 1:2), for “it is impossible for God to lie” (Hebrews 6:18). So, Will God give you that which your heart desires? “Yes, He will!” Will He heal you? “Yes, He will!” Will He deliver you from that situation? “Yes, He will!” for if God says Yes to anything in your life, certainly, no man nor powers can say NO.

Truly, if we could actually take the Word of God and Believe it according to what it says, we can come to only one conclusion; and that is the truth that every promise of God declared regarding the believer is still available today; still in effect and has not been revoked or cancelled therefore can still be accessed by all of God’s children.

PRAYER
Wonderful and merciful father, I thank you for your promises, and because your promises are eternal, I receive into my life all that you have declared concerning me in Jesus’ name, Amen
