 MEMBERS OF GOD'S FAMILY 


MEMORY VERSE: - John 1:12 - "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name"
 
Jesus did not come to establish another religion, but to raise a family, to raise a people of relationship with the Father, to raise a special species of rulers on earth. 

Therefore, as believers, Jahovah God is our Father and we are His children, as such, we are members of His divine family, thus, we should see Him as a father in our life and relate with Him as such.

Wherefore, Paul wrote, “You are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household” (Eph. 2:19). Hallelujah, we are no longer strangers. 

A lot of people are far away from God because they don't see Him as a Father. Listen, when we were in the world, we were strangers separated from the Father. But now in Christ, we are members of the Divine family, so, we must relate with Him as the father that He is to us.

Coming into the family of God gives you new worth and makes you significant. As one who is born of God, you are not permitted to talk like the world does, nor act like they do, but are to talk faith talks and carry yourself gracefully.

Moreover, we must know that as members of God's family, He is lovingly and carefully watching over us. He protects and supports us. 

Therefore, we are to be confident and feel secured. We should take bold steps of faith in life because we know He is for us and with us and we know He is fighting our battles for us.

PRAYER
Father in heaven, thank you for welcoming me into your family of faith. And thank you for protecting and taking care of me and all that I have. Thank you for making me to be partaker of your inheritance in Jesus name, Amen

Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment.
