 REJOICE ALWAYS

MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 46:16 - "Let all who seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee; Let those who love Thy salvation say continually, "The LORD be magnified!"

Do you know that God wants you to be happy? Yes, certainly, it is His will that we His children live a happy life. Wherefore, the Scriptures says, “Let those that seek you [God ] rejoice and be glad in him" our rejoicing is not in ourselves, not in our feelings and emotions, but in Him.

We rejoice in Him even when the things around us is not conducive, because we know that the joy which comes from him sees the end that is victorious. Understand that in our God there is joy and gladness of heart not sorrow and bitterness as some made it seem. Hence, we were never told in the scripture to be wretched, miserable or downcast.

Furthermore, We do not see that scripture saying "Groan in the LORD always and again I say groan" Never..... Rather we hear the word admonishing us to "Rejoice in the LORD" Hallelujah!!! 

This is what the LORD wants us to do always. To Rejoice in His faithfulness, in His goodness, in his grace and even in times of challenges we are to rejoice knowing that we are more than conquerors in him. Hence the scripture says, "Rejoice evermore"

The devil is the enemy of our joy, all he want to see in us is groaning and sorrowful instead of rejoicing in the LORD. Remember he is a thief, he only comes to "steal, kill and destroy" (John. 10:10). He takes pleasure in promoting things in our lives that will make us groan in pains and wallow in sorrow. 

Child of God, no matter what he throws your way, you must chose not to dance to his music, chose not to be sorrowful but to REJOICE in the LORD God of your salvation.


PRAYER 

I will exalt You Lord, for Your love have lifted me up above my enemies. You have not let my foes rejoice over me. Therefore, I will rejoice in you and be glad in your faithfulness.
