 RISE ABOVE THE STORM 


MEMORY VERSE: Mark 4:39 - Jesus stood up and commanded the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind stopped, and it became completely calm. (NCV)

No one wants storms in life, we all want to sail on a smooth ride but storms always look for a way to show up it's ugly head. It is not about the storm raging but about what you do with it. You must make proper use of the storm by using it to rise instead of allowing it to drown you.

That is, do not allow your storms to weigh you down rather make full use of the opportunity that it provides.... Make it a stepping stone to your elevation. Learn from the eagle... An eagle uses the storm to rise to unimaginable heights.

Understand that there is always a hidden treasure of glory inbeneath the storm, so find it. Never loose hope by looking at the storm because that can only give you fear. And the fearful cannot take action that will put out the storm. But fix your gaze on Jesus who is able to help you overcome the storm.

 Therefore, whatever you are going through is not going to destroy you, but will only lead you to greater glory. For without storms there can be no victory, no testimony neither will there be greater glory. Certainly, God will use the storm that was sent to break you to raise you.


 PRAYER

Heavenly father thank you for the storm, thank you for everything that came my way in life journey. Today by your grace I rise above every storm, in Jesus name, Amen
