Living our lives as a living sacrifice has great impact on our relationship with God. In his letter to the Galatians, Paul says, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” The believer's life is an offering to God. It is consecrated and set apart for God. As a result, we no longer live to please ourselves but to please God. Oh! Jesus always demands for our all in our walk with Him. He does not want a partial commitment but our total surrendering to Him. Wherefore, we are called upon to  "offer ourselves a living sacrifice to God."  That is, to give up our selfish satisfaction and desires for the living God. To live a life that is worthy and acceptable to God. Sacrifice is defined as “Anything consecrated and offered to God." Thus, we must consecrate ourselves and be yielded to God as an instrument of righteousness. We are to sacrifice our feelings, selfish ambitions, motives etc to serve the living God. Many are not where they ought to be, they are living the low life because of the activities of the wicked.  Those who are supposed to be the head are living the tail life due to the works of the wicked.
