THE LORD WILL RESTORE

MEMORY VERSE: - Nahum 2:2 - "For the LORD will restore the excellence of Jacob Like the excellence of Israel, For the emptiers have emptied them out And ruined their vine branches" (NKJV).​

This message in Nahum 2:2 is that of a great comfort and hope to those who has been afflicted and oppressed by the enemy. It is to those of whom the enemy have stolen their pride, their joy, their identity, their glory and honor. It is a message for that believer that has been reduced to nothing by the challenges that surrounds them.

The Lord will restore the excellence, the splendor, the beauty, the glory, the fortunes that the spiritual robbers known as emptiers spirits have taken away from them and rendered them empty. The end of emptiers operation has come. No more lose, no more oppressions, no more torment, no more shame. The emptiers spirits have been weighed in the balance and found wanting and now the Lord is risen against them.

For many years the Assyrians oppressed God's people. Daily things went from bad to worse as the enemy takes away all they have laboured to get, leaving them empty and impoverished. Oh! How they must have wondered whether the Lord cared any more for them, or maybe He had forsaken them. 

The people of Judah must have felt helpless and abandoned by God. With the way the enemy was afflicting them, they could see no way out of their situation. Everything seem as though there was no end to their troubles. But then, right in the middle of their situation, the Lord raised up Nahum, a prophet with the message of hope and comfort. 

He declared "Even though the destroyer has destroyed Judah, the LORD will restore its honor..... he will restore its splendor." (NLT). I see the Lord restoring all that emptiers has taken from you.


PRAYER

Thank you heavenly Father for your love and care. Thank for such a time as this... Thank you for restoring all that the emptiers has taken from me.... in Jesus name, Amen.
