YOUR FAITH FAIL NOT 3


MEMORY VERSE: - Luke 22:31-32 - “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren."

Now, in all that Job went through he refused to allow his faith in God to fail, he never doubted the ability of God rather he grew stronger in faith and kept positive mindset.

Anyone who doubts will not be able to see the results of his or her prayer. Doubt is a doorway through which satan enters your life. It makes the 'fight of faith' to become the 'flight of fear'. When fear, confusion, discouragement and despair lay hold on you, they rob you of your confidence to stand in faith.

The scripture says, "Jesus answered them, "I assure you: If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you tell this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' it will be done." (Matthew 21:2).

We saw in the case of Peter what happened to him when he saw the wind, it resulted to fear: thus, he began to sink. What went wrong here? Jesus revealed that Peter doubted., "Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” (See Matthew 14:30-33).

Peter doubted in his heart even as he was breaking the world's record of walking on the sea. His mind drifted away from faith to doubt in a split of seconds. Wherefore, Peter's faith was failing him for looking at the things around.

When you doubt, it reveal a lack of confidence in God's word. You must quit looking at your weaknesses and look at the strength and mightiness of your heavenly Father.

 PRAYER 

Gracious Father, I how wonderful you are. Thank you for your mercies that has been a great covering over us and has not allow myself and my household to be a prey in the hold of the enemy. This day, I overcome doubt and fear in Jesus name, Amen.
