BECOMING WHAT YOU OUGHT TO BE

BECOMING WHAT YOU OUGHT TO BE!!

MEMORY VERSE: - 1 Peter 5:10 - "After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be] (AMP).

God has designed you for his eternal glory. Eternal means forever, ageless, without end, ceaseless, and always existing.

However, the last line of our text is my focus and it says says, "Making you what you ought to be". There's a way our heavenly Father has designed for us to be and live as His beloved children. But many are living below His standard for them.

Living in the way of the fallen man has become a way of life for many. The enemy has altered and twisted many's life spiritually that instead of living as God ordained, they are living in the shadow of the enemy's scheme.

Listen, in Christ, you and I are to live here in this world a life that reflects God in all aspects. We are to live the Triumphant living, the Glorious living, the Victorious living and a Healthy living. This is how it is in heaven and heaven on earth is God's perfect will for you and I in Christ.

The scripture says, "He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?" (ESV). When it says 'All things', he means everything that is rightfully yours in Christ. All His fullness, all His abundance, all His favours, all His success, His sound health, His material possessions etc.

God wants you to have all that there is to life in abundance. It's an error to have the One who owns everything in the world as a father yet, be living in lack and want. But do to lack of knowledge many are living in this error.

The scripture says, "Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable (dignitaries, nobles) men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst." (Isaiah 5:13). Beloved, when you do not have knowledge of who you are not whose you are, you will live below the standard of what's rightfully yours.

PRAYER
Thank you Father for another new day. May your spirit of grace help to study your Word that I may know what's rightfully mine in order to reflect you in all aspects of life in Jesus name, Amen.
