POWER OF MEDITATION

MEMORY VERSE: - Joshua 1:8 - "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

Meditation for the believer denote to reflecting, thinking deeply or dwelling on God’s Word (Psalm 1:2), it is setting the mind on things above (Colossians 3:2). Meditation is a very powerful thing given to the believer. And like our text says, it is a secret key to all good success. 

We are to set our minds, thoughts, stayed on God's word that is true and in doing so, the Spirit of the Word will give us ideas that will bring about uncommon success. Success comes from the Lord and the way to receiving His success is by meditating on His Word. We are to meditate on God's goodness, on His favor, on His abundance for us. 

Moreover, if we want to enjoy sound health, we must meditate on God's Word on health. The scripture tells us that God's Words are "life to those who find them and health to their body". (See Proverbs 4:20-22). It doesn't matter what doctors have told you, the power of the Word will bring you healing and health, only believe.

For one to have peace that surpasses all human understanding, we must ponder on His peace. The scripture in Isaiah 26:3 says, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you.”

It is important that we think deeply and reflect on what we believe. Understand that you have everything you need to fulfill your destiny and purpose in His Word and with the help of the Holy Spirit you will achieve them all.


 PRAYER

Gracious Father, I thank you for your Word, from now henceforth, I begin to have disciplined mind to reflect on your word in Jesus name, Amen.
