NO EMPTY-HANDEDNESS IN CHRIST


MEMORY VERSE: - Exodus 3:21 - "I will grant this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall be that when you go, you will not go empty-handed."

Being in Christ automatically places you in the favor of God and when God's favor is in you, amazing things begins to happen in your life and because of God’s favor, you can never be empty-handed in life.

I used to marvel when I hear people say that they are to be EMPTY in this world, but have their blessing in the spirit. As a result, they deny themselves of the good things of life that God has given to them to make them have heaven on earth. Listen, God has blessed us with everything we will ever need to enjoy life in this world.

 Now, it's our responsibility to command the spiritual to be made manifest in the physical. Oh, they even sing about being empty-handed as a worship song…. “Empty handed but alive in your hands.” Awww! Where did they get the idea that being in Christ is an invitation to a life of emptiness. 

Now this is where many of us misjudge and miss-present who God truly is. Certainly, life without God's goodness and blessings is a miserable one. How can a believer believe that in Christ there is nothing more than emptiness for him or her. Do you not know that to be empty is to be void of blessings, to be needy, to be impoverished, broke or deprived of the good things of life? 

God did not call us into a life of emptiness but of wealth, abundance and great inheritance. In 2 Peter 1:3, Apostle Peter told us that we are called to a life of glory and virtue. He said, "According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue"

In order word, God has given us everything we need to live a life of pleasure in this world. His divine power has bestowed on us everything necessary and required for us to have a dynamic life here and now. If God has given us all that we need to live a well meaningful life in this world, then we can't allow ourselves to miss this awesome blessings of God for us.

PRAYER
Thank you Lord for giving me glory and honor in life.... I am amazingly filled with your goodness therefore I refuse to be empty in life in Jesus name, Amen.
