HOLD ON TO YOUR FREEDOM


MEMORY VERSE: - Galatians 5:1 - “Christ has set us free! This means we are really free. Now hold on to your freedom and don't ever become slaves again."

Because of the human factor being so much alive in most believers, they find it difficult to believe in the freedom that Christ has given us. They still think they are under a kind of bondage.

The truth is that no one in Christ is under Satan's bondage. People are under the bondage of their ignorance and mindset because they have refused to believe in that which Christ has done already. Until one takes charge over his or her mind and believe in what Christ has done, they cannot have the experience.

Not knowing who you are will keep you under slavery where you ought to be master and ruler. Understand that in Christ you have to believe to receive and enjoy what's done for you. You must believe that you have been set free, , thereby refusing to allow any power to do anyhow in your life by executing your authority rights and you will enjoy the life of freedom.

Christ has set all who believe in Him free once for all times. He is not about to set you free, He is not waiting for you to die and come to heaven to set you free, He is not going to set you free at His second coming but has done it already. 

When He exchanged your life and took your place and mine and became a sacrificial lamb He freed us from all manner of bondage. Wherefore John 8:36 says, “So if the Son sets you free, you are free through and through.” (MSG). No partial freedom in Christ, no halfway freedom in Christ, it is total freedom.

When you are freed in Christ, the devil has no more control over you rather you are the one that has power over the devil to bind and cast him out anytime he tries to do anything funny in your life or around your territory. So, in Christ Jesus, you are now in the family of God where there is no bondage at all but freedom only.

PRAYER
Thank you Father for the freedom in Christ Jesus our Lord, from this day onwards, I begin to experience the life of freedom. I refuse to allow any stranger have their way in my territory anymore in Jesus name, Amen.
