DESTROYING THE COVERING CAST 2


MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 25: 7 - "And He will destroy on this mountain the surface of the covering cast over all people and the veil that is spread over all nations.”

There are many things that bring about covering and one of them is that which comes from curses. Like in the case of Ruben who experienced so much setbacks, reduction in number and even rejection after his father Jacob invoked negative pronouncements on him in Genesis 49:4 "Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel....."

And true to Jacob's words, Ruben began to struggle and was diminishing in number. His name was not enrolled in the genealogy according to the birthright and his firstborn birthright was given to the two sons of Joseph by Jacob as recorded in 1 Chronicles 5:1.

Curses are evil invocations pronounced upon someone or something and whenever there is a curse in anyone's life there is a covering, which makes the victim to be unproductive, barren, stagnated, and unfruitful. When Jesus cursed the fig tree it wildered and died. 

Curses are not just angry words; they are acts of power in the spiritual realm which opens doors for the enemy to come in. However, we can break every curse and remove the coverings that come with it. The scripture made us understand that, “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree" (Galat 3:13).

Through Christ Jesus, God broke and destroyed all curses over our lives and brought us into His covenant Blessings. Therefore, curses has no legal rights to rule over our lives anymore. We have been given the Power to reverse or revoke any evil invocation against us. The scripture says, "You shall decree a thing and it shall be established."

Therefore, child of God, don't stay where the enemy wants you to be, arise in prayer and destroy every curses promoting covering in any arena of your life.

PRAYER 
Father God, I am grateful for your grace in my life and today, according to that grace I destroy the stronghold of curses and its coverings in my life in Jesus name, Amen!
