JESUS SACRIFICE WAS TO GOD

Image
JESUS SACRIFICE WAS TO GOD MEMORY VERSE: - Ephesians 5:2 - "And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour." Most people believe that Jesus sacrifice was a payment to Satan to free us from his captivity. But to whom was Jesus sacrifice offered? Did he offer it to Satan to make a payment to him so that he could free us from his captivity? Or did he offer his sacrifice to God to free us from our penalty?  Contrary to what many believed, Jesus did not give himself up as Sacrifice to pay the devil for anything rather he sacrificed himself to God the father. Through that sacrifice he brought us back to God the father. There was never a time that the sacrifice of Jesus death on the cross was made to pay for the price of our sin to the devil but to God alone. Sin separated us from the father but Christ made peace with the father through his sacrifice on the cross thus, he reconciled us ba

MARK OF EXEMPTION

MARK OF EXEMPTION MEMORY VERSE: - Exodus 12:13 - "The blood will be your sign on the houses where you live. Whenever I see the blood, I’ll pass over you. No plague will destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt." (CEB). Right from the time of old, our world is filled with evil, cruelty and wickedness and in these last days; evil is intensifying. However, we are glad that as God's children, He has promised to exempt us from all harms. Zephaniah 3:15 says, "..... the Lord is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more." For the ancient Jews, it was the blood of an animal that was used as a mark of exemption, the Lord told them, "when I see the blood, I will pass over you" And that night as the Angel of death passed through Egypt there was wailing in every house except the houses whose door posts were marked with blood. They were exempted because of the mark of the Blood. The truth is that all that God's Angel needed to see was the bloo

LIVING BY THE SPIRIT 2

LIVING BY THE SPIRIT 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Galatians 5:25 - "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."   To live by the Spirit is to give yourself completely to the leading of the Holy Spirit with you not allowing your human senses to interfere. It is a place where you are not living for yourself but the Holy Spirit living through you.  Just like Paul wrote, "....I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20). Our human ability alone is not enough to achieve that which the Lord has ordained for us to achieve and we cannot conquer the devices of the wicked one on its own without supernatural support. Wherefore, we need the presence, the enablement, the endowment, the overwhelming power of the Holy Spirit to live out our divine assignment. It's true you have a part to play but working without the help of the Holy Sp

LIVING BY THE SPIRIT

LIVING BY THE SPIRIT MEMORY VERSE: - Galatians 5:25 - "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." The formation of humans was beyond the physical, it was far beyond putting clay together: for when the physical clay was formed, it was lifeless, immoveable, nonfunctional and inactive until the father breathed into it the breath of life.  Wherefore, the scripture says, "Then the Lord God formed [that is, created the body of] man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being [an individual complete in body and spirit]." (Genesis 2:7 AMP). With this text, it is clear that through the breath of life the real man was born hence, God is our Father, He is the Father of our spirit. Hebrews 12:9 made us understand that God is the "Father of spirits" and furthermore, the scripture says, "God is a spirit." (John 4:24) . So, if He is our Father, it then means we are like Him

SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY

Image
SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY MEMORY VERSE: - Luke 10:19- “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you" Jesus knew He was leaving the world to return back to the father in heaven but He wasn't going to leave his followers unequipped knowing that the world is full of wickedness and evil. So, before His departure He gave them authority and power.  Wherefore, the scripture in Luke 9:1 says, "When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases." This authority and power was not just to His apostles only, but also to all who will believe through their gospel, which includes you and I. So, Jesus did not leave behind a powerless Church when He ascended back to heaven, on the contrary, He put divine authority in their hands and gave them power over all things. Every believer has power and authority over everything; be it princ
