ESTABLISHING GOD’S WILL 2

Image
ESTABLISHING GOD’S WILL 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." In Psalm 33:11 the psalmist says, “The Lord’s plans stand firm forever.” Now, for the fact that the Lord says His plan for us is to prosper, it then means that His plans to prosper us stand firm and are eternal, no power, force nor any human agent can stop us from prospering. Furthermore, in Mathew 6:10 we see Jesus making us to understand how important it is for us to be in the center of the perfect Will of God when He said we should pray for it. “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done in the earth as it is in Heaven” God's plans are His perfect Will for us. Jesus through this great teaching on prayer for God’s Will to be done, has revealed to us the importance of us experiencing God’s plans in our lives on earth. Thus, there is a great need for us to desire to know God's pe...

ESTABLISHING GOD’S WILL

ESTABLISHING GOD’S WILL MEMORY VERSE: - Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." It is important to know God's will for you but knowing is not enough, you have to also see to it that His will for your life is established. The Will of God is His divine plan or purpose. It is what God has determined to be done or what God wants us to do. It is the concept of God having a plan for humanity, and He is desiring, longing and yearning to see this plan fulfilled.  God’s divine Will or plan for His children is prosperity, good life, sound health and it is to enjoy pleasures in this life. Wherefore the psalmist said, “He takes pleasure in the prosperity of His people” (Psalm 35:27). Actually, God loves pleasure hence it is written, “….At His right hand are pleasures forevermore” (Psalm 16:11). So, God never planned for His children to suffer or go through shame, reproa...

LIVING BY THE SPIRIT

Image
LIVING BY THE SPIRIT MEMORY VERSE: - Zechariah 4:6 - "Not by might nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord". In Christ we are not called to live by ourselves, we are to live through Him via the Holy Spirit . To live by the Spirit is to give yourself completely to the leading of the Holy Spirit: with you not allowing your human senses to interfere. It is the place where you are not living for yourself but living by faith in Christ through the Holy Spirit. Just like Paul wrote, "....I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." ( Galatians 2:20 ). Our human ability is not sufficient to achieve all that the Lord has ordained for us to achieve. Moreover, it is not enough to conquer the devices of the wicked one , we need the presence, the enablement, the endowment, the overwhelming power of the Holy Spirit to live out our divine mandate . It is...

BE SENSITIVE TO YOUR MOMENT 3

Image
BE SENSITIVE TO YOUR MOMENT 3 MEMORY VERSE: - John 17:14–16, - "have given them your Word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, ..... I do not ask you to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” One of the things that stands against people from embracing their visitation time is Religious spirit. Oh, how religious spirits have robbed many of their God given blessings. It tells them they don't have right to the earthly blessings because they are not of this world.  Wherefore, they misunderstand and misapply the scripture, taking it to mean that for the reason that we are not of this world, we do not need the blessings of God in this world.  Recognize that Jesus said “Not of the world” it is not that we are not living in the world but that we do not belong to the world. Therefore, by saying we are not of this world, Jesus is simply saying, 'Our kingdom where we tru...

READY FOR MASTER'S USE

Image
READY FOR MASTER'S USE   MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Timothy 2:19 - “Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity,” Coming into the family of God changes everything about our attitude and the way we react to things, people, situations, and challenges that come our way. Remember that God's grace enables us to achieve beyond the ordinary and to live right. So, how do we walk with grace? We are to yield to him so that He will help us to “DEPART FROM INIQUITY” as our text says.  The truth is that due to the spirit of the age operating in these end times which makes many believers to be insensitive to spiritual things; iniquity is on the increase.  A lot of believers are in the church but have refused to let go of their old evil ways, rather they see grace as one who has come to help them achieve their evil scheme, this is absurd. How can we even think that God supports evil; why then did Jesus sacrifice His life for us?  We must know that what...

ABIDING IN CHRIST

Image
ABIDING IN CHRIST MEMORY VERSE: - John 15:5 - “ Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me." The true secret of living a successful Christian life in this world and being fruitful in life is found here in this statement of Jesus, 'Abide in me'. Yes, abiding in Him is the key to it all, leaning on Him, communing with Him, fellowshipping with Him in word, worship and prayer. Meditating on him and the word keeps your mind stayed on Him. Many have sought for deliverance, they have struggled with ungodly habits, some are entangled in a web of situations and some have wrestled in prayers to no avail. But here is the answer to every struggle right before us in His word, "Abide In me." Oh, yes, it is to abide, to stay, to remain rooted, to dwell in Christ. He is our anchor, our defence, our Glory and the lifter of our heads. Paul tells us "Let the word of Christ dwell...

CALLING FORTH THINGS THAT BE NOT 3

Image
CALLING FORTH THINGS THAT BE NOT 3 MEMORY VERSE: - Ephesians 1:3 - "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ , who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ:" God has great things in store for you in the spiritual realm but you need to bring them into your life in the physical where it is useful and beneficial to you. You can't have a car in the spiritual realm and in the physical you do not have any. You can't have a beautiful house in the spiritual and be homeless in the physical.  It is an error for you to be rich in the spiritual realm and be poor in the physical, that is the lifestyle of witches not for God's children. It is expected of you to call forth the spiritual into the visible realm. 2 Peter 1:3 tells us that, “…His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness…,” Now, for us to experience what his divine power has given us, we must learn to declare with our mouths....

HABIT OF PRAYER

Image
HABIT OF PRAYER MEMORY VERSE: - Ephesians 6:18 - With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints A lot of people pray only when they are faced with challenges. They don't see reasons why they should pray when things are going well with them. However, the scriptures instruct us to pray without ceasing .... (See 1 Thessalonians 5:17 ). That is, No relenting.... No wearing.... No fainting.... No giving up but to be consistent in prayers.  Therefore, we must form prayer habit . Habit is defined as an automatic behavior acquired through repetition. It is something that a person does often in a regular and repeated way until it becomes a part of the person and hard to give up. So to form a prayer habit is to regularly and repeatedly pray at all times until it becomes a part of you that you cannot do without. Therefore, learn to pray in all whether, at all times, when you...

CALLING FORTH THINGS THAT BE NOT 2

CALLING FORTH THINGS THAT BE NOT 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Romans 10:9-10 - "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation ” Paul in this text made us to understand that when one believes with the heart, they must go farther than just believing, they will have to declare with their mouth what they believe in their heart then they shall be saved (delivered, freed).  But if they do not declare what they believe with their mouth, they will be no salvation. That is, they will not experience the blessings that is rightfully theirs and they will not enjoy the kind of life that they desired. So, it's not enough to believe that you are who God says you are but the perfection of it all is in the confession. Until one begins to speak or call into existence the things he or she believes, they can be no physical manifestation. When Jesus got to the tomb where Lazarus was buried, he called him by name to come forth. And that moment, ...

CALLING FORTH THINGS THAT BE NOT 1

CALLING FORTH THINGS THAT BE NOT 1 MEMORY VERSE: - Romans 4:17 - “(as it is written: “I have made thee a father of many nations”), in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead and calleth those things which are not, as though they were" The scripture in Proverbs 18:21 says, " Death and life are in the power of the tongue , and those who love it will eat it’s fruit." In order words, what you speak is what you get to see in life. Understand that there's no idle word with God, for Jesus said, "every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account of it in the day of judgment ." Idle word means careless word, meaningless word, irrelevant word, pointless word or useless word. So, for every careless word you speak, heaven takes it seriously and it will yield fruits accordingly. And Jesus went further to say that "by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned." (See Matthew 12:36...
