  AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational STEP OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Matthew 14:28-29 - "And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus."  In this text, we see faith, action, and risk. Peter showed great faith by taking steps out of the boat. It doesn't matter how many great goals and plans you have, until you take a risk and step out of your comfort zone, it will never be materialized. You cannot claim to have faith and not walk the faith. Every faith requires actions, its time you stop talking and start doing.  The boat was a comfort zone for Peter and if he hadn’t taken that bold step of stepping out at the command of the Lord he would not have known that he also could walk on the water. When God called our father of faith Abraham he was in his comfort zone, he dwelling among his brethren and loved ones. He had a home but for him to move to the next level in life, God told him to leave all that behind.  And upon the Word of God, Abraham began his journey into the unknown, he stepped out of his comfort zone not knowing where he was going and not knowing what’s in store for him. Now, what is procrastination? To procrastinate is to keep delaying something that must be done, it is to be slow or late about doing something that should be done. It is to delay taking action until a later time because you do not want to do it, and because you are lazy. It is put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness. It is to continuously postpone.   John 4:35 tells us, "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." Those who procrastinate are always giving excuses why they are not doing what they ought to do. You are not here by chance; there is a “WILL”, there is always a “WILL”. You have been per-destined for God’s WILL. It is important that you discover what His WILL is for you and be totally dedicated to that WILL and reign in life.   What is the WILL of God? The will of God is His divine purpose or plan. It is what God has determined to be done or what God wants us to do. It is the concept of God having a plan for humanity, and desiring to see this plan fulfilled. God’s divine WILL is absolutely in contrast to the human Will. So, do you feel dissatisfied or unsettled with your life? They either take you upward or pull you down to the lowest level in life. God has destined you for greatness, but you can't achieve greatness by spending time with fools, the scornful, and the unserious minded people.  When you walk with fools who are headed to suffer harm, you end up like them. Keeping company with fools will imprison your potentials and waste your life, while keeping company with the wise will add value to your life. From this verse we see the life of the new creation man in Christ, it is living the kingdom life of prosperity in this world. It says "WHATSOEVER he does shall prosper" not some things.... We are to experience prosperity in every path of life.  The new creation man have been uprooted from the realm of the life of unfruitfulness and unproductivity unto the realm of prosperity in all things.   AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational THE PRAYER OF FAITH 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Hebrews 11:6 - "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." They are two points I need us to see here... 1. Believe that God exist.... 2. Believe that he is a rewarder (He answers prayer).  One can believe that God exist (even the devils believe and trembles): yet doesn't believe that He can produce the expected result to their prayer. This is where hypocrisy lies. Thus they belittle Him, disrespect Him, see Him as weakling and incapable. The only thing that we can do to please God is exercising faith in him. If we do not please God how shall we even think we will receive anything from him. James in this passage brings us the understanding that prayer is not mechanical but a heartfelt thing. It is something you do because you are certain it will produce the desired results.  However, many are praying but do not have trust in their prayers nor believe that God has all it takes to bring about tremendous changes in their lives and a turnaround in their situation. In Luke 18:8 Jesus asked a question, He said, "....when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"
