KJV A yoke is put around the neck of oxen to help control the animal. It limits its movement. Whenever the oxen starts to get off course, the yoke is used to pull it back. Although an oxen is very strong and powerful, yet, this small yoke keeps it from doing what it wants to do.  Same way, the enemy has put a yoke and burdens upon their victim that restrict them from walking in destiny and from doing what they want to do. When a yoke is put upon one's life, they live a struggling life, they live in poverty, unproductivity, lack, etc.  Therefore today, you are going to be released from yokes and burdens of the enemy because the Lord's anointing shall destroy them. As believers, how do we consecrate and offer ourselves to God as a living sacrifice? We do that by not conforming to this world as our memory verse tells us. To be conformed is to be fashioned as, to imitate, and to adapt. In order word we are not to do things as the people of the world do, we must not follow the systems and standards of this world. The world is defined for us in 1 John 2:15-16 as “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.” All that the world has to offer can be reduced to these three things. The lust of the flesh includes everything that appeals to our appetites and involves excessive desires; such as immorality, drunkenness, and anything else that satisfies physical needs.

It's important we understand that one who offers the gifts must first of all offer himself or herself before he or she can offer a worthy offering to God. The father is more interested in you than in the things you offer, therefore you must make yourself ready for a worthy offering.  You can't offer God an offering with blemishes or defiled. Know that God must first accept the giver before He can accept the gifts. Thus

The psalmist boldly declared that the Lord Jahovah was his refuge and fortress because he trusted in Him and thus had experienced His awesome power of protection. God is a refuge and fortress to anyone who have relationship with Him. He is their safe place, their retreat, the place they go when they are faced with challenges and fear. And there is a lot of fear going on in the world today but God is our shelter, strength and fortified place.
