HEARTFELT PRAYER OF THE RIGHTEOUS 3 MEMORY VERSE: - James 5:16 - "..... The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." Today, we are continuing with Point #2: "PERSISTENT PRAYER". As children of the Most High God, we don't turn back from the battle until the victory is taken.  We were told that there was a situation in heaven and the Angels of God fought and the devil with his own group also fought but the Angels didn't give up, they fought until they chased the devil and his fellow rebellion angels out of heaven. (See Revelation 12:7-9) . We don't turn back because the enemy is heating up the fire of challenges more than before, we fight to the end and we fight to win.  The truth is that we've already won the victory in Christ before the battle started. TROUBLE FOR TROUBLERS MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Thessalonians 1:6 - "[It is a fair decision] since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with distress and affliction those who distress and afflict you" Seeing scriptures like 2 Thessalonians 1:6 gladdens my heart, it encourages me and brings relieve knowing that it is a good thing, a righteous thing, a just thing for our heavenly Father to pay back those who trouble us with trouble. God is faithful in making sure that you have peace from the troublers of your peace and He is faithful in returning back their evil to them. Assuredly, He will Repay them according to their deeds; and do to them as they have done to you and even give them double. The Lord wants you to know that He sees your affliction, He knows your pains, He sees your tears and sorrows which comes from the enemies of your peace and He will certainly reward them accordingly.   KEEP YOUR PRAYER FLAME BURNING 3 MEMORY VERSE: - Leviticus 6:12 - "The fire on the altar is to be kept burning; it must not go out....." Paul wrote to Timothy in 2 Timothy 1:6 “Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands” (KJV) . One of the ways we can keep the flame burning is by stirring up our inner man through praying in the spirit or praying in the heavenly language or as it is popularly known, praying in tongues. In 1 Corinthians 14:2 Paul made us to understand that when we are praying in the spirit, we are speaking mysteries in the spirit. "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries." Certainly, the devil doesn't understand this our heavenly language, and so, it takes him off balance. KEEP YOUR PRAYER FLAME BURNING 2 MEMORY VERS E: - Leviticus 6:12 - "The fire on the altar is to be kept burning; it m ust not go out....." For anyone to keep the flame burning, they must be consistent in prayer, praying at all times and like Paul wrote it in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing" A believer who prays unceasingly cannot be a prey for the enemy because they will be too hot to touch or even come near.  Prayer is a great weapon believers can use against the enemy and also a defensive shield for them. Prayer builds a wall of fire around us that makes it difficult for the enemy to come in and harm us. If you are an easy prey for the enemy's attack, then check your prayer life. And so, our text in Leviticus 6:12 tells us that "The fire on the altar is to be kept burning; it must not go out....." And because of the importance of prayer, verse 13 further re-emphasis on it. KEEP YOUR PRAYER FLAME BURNING MEMORY VERSE: - Leviticus 6:12 - "The fire on the altar is to be kept burning; it must not go out....." If there's anything the devil does not want you to do; it is to pray and if there's anything he wants you to do its to not pray. He will do anything to distract you from praying because he knows what prayer power is for you and what it does to him. Prayer is the power that turns things around in your favor, it causes a tremendous change in your circumstances, it makes the impossible to become possible in your life. It's a pity that some people are too lazy to pray, whilst some are too busy to find time to pray. Listen, he or she that doesn't pray is empty and fireless. Thus, they are easy prey for the enemy.  You must pray at all times if you want to make a headway in life, you must keep the flem of prayer burning if you want to live the Overcomers life.   YOUR FAITH FAIL NOT 3 MEMORY VERSE: - Luke 22:31-32 - “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." Now, in all that Job went through he refused to allow his faith in God to fail, he never doubted the ability of God rather he grew stronger in faith and kept positive mindset. Anyone who doubts will not be able to see the results of his or her prayer. Doubt is a doorway through which satan enters your life. It makes the 'fight of faith' to become the 'flight of fear'. When fear, confusion, discouragement and despair lay hold on you, they rob you of your confidence to stand in faith. The scripture says, "Jesus answered them, "I assure you: If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you tell this mountain, 'Be lifted up and throw

YOUR FAITH FAIL NOT 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Luke 22:31-32 - “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." Another thing that can make one's faith fail is allowing pressures of the things around to have a hold on them. You must master situation and not situation mastering you. It is not about what the enemies throws your way but about how well you handle them. The secret of Job's victory over the devil and all he brought on him was his ability to be the master over his situation. He did not give in to pressure of it, nor of that of his wife nor his friends. Can one's faith fail? From our text, Jesus is making us know that faith can fail. How we deal with things that happens around us will determine whether our faith will wax stronger or fail. How does one faith fail? 1. Through fear of life, fear of the unknown, and all manners of fear. 2. Through looking at the things or waves of life's challenges around.  We are not to focus our attention on the challenges but to pray about it. According to Jesus, he said,  "Men ought always to pray, and not to faint;" (Luke 18:1). Prayer averts things, it turns away the plans of the wicked. We don't have to accept negative things, dreams, visions, prophecy that reveals the plots of the wicked neither should we b

CHANGE IS COMING 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Job 14:14 - “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come." In spite of all that Job went through, he refused to be broken, he stayed through to his faith in God and stayed positive. He declared that he wasn't going to give up but wait until his change comes. Because he knew that whatever the enemy may have brought his way was subject to change.  Child of God, the wait might not be easy, it's day mighty seem too long and it's night might seem unending; but you must stay positive and in faith with your God who alone can bring about the change you desire to see.  Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:18 tells us that "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal". CHANGE IS COMING MEMORY VERSE: - Job 14:14 - “If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come." Job was a man who went through a lot in the hands of the devil but in all that the devil put him through, he refused his spirit to be broken. He stay strong in his faith and complete dependent on God. Instead of losing faith and giving up on God, he waxed strong. Wherefore, he said "I will wait till my change come" . He saw hope in the midst of hopelessness. He saw what others around him wasn't seeing, he saw God's power breaking through his situation and bringing about change. Listen, Faith is seeing peace in the midst of great storm. Faith is seeing change when all around is chaos. Faith is refusing your spirit to be broken in spite of all the challenges before you. Job began that verse with a question, "If a man dies, will he live again? In NLT it is put this way, "will the dead live again, if so.....&
