THE LORD GIVES GOOD THINGS 2 MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 85:12 - "Yes, the LORD will give what is good; And our land will yield its increase." How could and why should a child of God ever think of God of glory, the good God, a loving and caring Father as One who gives what is bad to him or her. It is an error. THE LORD GIVES GOOD THINGS MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 85:12 - "Yes, the LORD will give what is good; And our land will yield its increase." God is a good God and He is a giver of good things. It's a pity that some believers do not see God as the giver of good things but only see Him as the one who causes bad things to happen to them. They see Him as the one who puts sicknesses and deceases on them, they see Him as the giver of calamities, shame and mockery. Some see Him as the One who gives what is evil and the One who takes pleasure in their failures and poverty. But as I look into God's Word, I still saw it saying that "the Lord takes pleasure in the prosperity of His children" (Psalm 35:27). He rejoices when His children succeeds, excel and prosper in life. BUILDING UP YOURSELF MEMORY VERSE: Jude 1:20 - “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Every believer needs to assume responsibility for their own spiritual growth. Everyone must put in efforts for personal growth and development. Wherefore, Jude made us to understand the importance of growing our spiritual life, he said we are to build on faith.  To build something is to raise a structure, it is to construct something by putting parts or material together. It is to make something stronger or more intense. So, for us to build up ourselves, we need use some construction materials. Our beloved apostle Jude gave us some secret keys to our building. 1. It is having no uncertainty about one's own abilities, having strong belief or full assurance. GOD IS WITH US MEMORY VERSE: Zephaniah 3:17 - “For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs."    Hearing words like this one in our memory verse today gladdens my heart, knowing that God is with us, gives me a new strength, vigour, and enthusiasm to keep pushing and pressing forward in life. In spite of all that the enemy has planned, in all their evil schemes, in the midst of challenges and tribulations, yet we are not shaken because we know that we are not alone for God is with us. LIVING OUT THE WORD MEMORY VERSE: - James 1:22 - “Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only” It is good to know what God has written about you in His Word, but knowing the truth without applying its principles in your life makes it irrelevant to you. We must put that which we know to work, thus we will experience the blessings that goes with the truth. It is one thing to know the truth, and another thing to live in the reality of the truth and make the truth relevant to your life. It is good to know but it is much better to apply what you know into your life: for what is the essence of knowing if not to build and make our lives to line up as ordained by God.  It is the doers that are made perfect. BE STILL 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 46:10 - “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” One thing we must never forget is that God is the sovereign One, He is the controller of the whole universe and He is with us, He is in the center of all that concerns us. Therefore, as we pray in the midst of challenges, we need to hold our peace in faith and His word knowing that our God is a prayer answering God. Even though everything around us may seem to be falling apart, we are to be still and hold on to the word and stay in faith thus we will be pleasing God with our right attitude of faith, "for without faith it is impossible to please GOD" Hebrews 11:6. BE STILL 1

BE STILL MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 46:10 - “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” There are times in life when we are faced with such awkward moments that makes our world spins and our hearts sored in confusion and anxiety creeps in. However, our heavenly Father tells us to be still in the midst of storms because He will help us, and he will save us. To be still in Psalm 40:10, is to relax, to rest, to be at peace within you in the midst of storms. Oftentimes, this is the last thing anyone will want to do when their world is falling apart and it seems like they have no control of a situation. They will rather choose to worry and be all worked up. Furthermore, God telling us to 'be still' is saying stay in me, take your refuge in my promises that is ever true, let your heart not be troubled over anything, lean on me, trust me to help you and deliver you from your predicament. GOD IS ABLE 3 MEMORY VERSE: - Ephesians 3:20 - “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." Now let us look at the next thing that Paul says God is able to do for us in this text in Ephesians 3:20.... He is able to do all that we 'Imagine'. GOD IS ABLE 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Ephesians 3:20 - "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us." Our text further said, "God is able to do more than we ASK" . You have to ask in order for God to have something to work with. It's a pity that some believers do not bother to ask, they believe that God knows what their needs are and so it is left for Him to either do something about it or leave them in their needs. It's true that God knows your needs but He has given you the right to make your request. We have the case of blind Bartimaeus, a man clearly seen by all that he was blind. Yet, when he got to Jesus, He requested to know what he wanted Him to do for him. “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” Mark 10:51. Why will Jesus asked him such question seeing clearly that he was blind? Is it not obvious that he needs a miracle
