BE OPEN FOR THE MIRACULOUS

AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational BE OPEN FOR THE MIRACULOUS MEMORY VERSE: - Acts 12:5 - "So Peter was kept in prison, but earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church." Prayer is a very powerful tool that gives us an edge in life. The Apostles in our text were earnestly praying for the release of Peter when Harold arrested him and locked him up in prison waiting for the day he will kill him like he did James. But the prayers of the church reached the ears of God and He sent an Angel to deliver Peter from prison. Now in verse 13-15 we were told that Peter was released miraculously, however the church did not believe it was possible for him to come out of prison without human efforts. They said to the girl that brought them news, "You must be out of your mind". Now why did they not believe that it was Peter? Because they didn't expect it to happen the way it happened. They expected God to pass through another means. Maybe they wanted to negotiate with Haro

GOD'S GOOD AND PERFECT GIFTS 2

AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational  GOD'S GOOD AND PERFECT GIFTS 2 MEMORY VERSE: - James 1:17 - "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."  The scripture further says that “There is no shadow of turning” in God. In order word, God cannot change; He will not turn away from His promises, but will always perform them. Man can change, man is uneven, he is unstable and untruthful. Most of the time he or she Promises what they know they are not going to do. In our journey of life, we have seen people that we trusted changed like unstable waters. But God is not like that. He is the giver of good gifts and He never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Furthermore, there is also “no variableness” in God, that is to say, there is no changeability, no irregularity, no randomness, no unevenness, no misdeeds, no wrongdoing and no indiscretion in God.   AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational GOD'S GOOD AND PERFECT GIFTS MEMORY VERSE: - James 1:17 - "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." God is a perfect God, He wants the best for all His children thus He gives us the best of life. The greatest gifts that we can ever receive comes from a father who makes no mistakes in His gifts, a perfect father (God). Daily we are blessed with gifts from our Heavenly Father. No day goes by without Him sending forth His blessings for us, hence, the psalmist in Psalm 84:11 said, "No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly." James says in verse 16, “Don’t be deceived.” About what exactly is James telling us to not be deceived? It is about the misconception of God bringing evil upon His children. We shouldn’t be fooled into thinking that God gives us evil. Instead, we must realize that God is truly the g

WALKING IN THE SPIRIT

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational WALKING IN THE SPIRIT MEMORY VERSE: - Galatians 5:26 - "Walk by the spirit and you shall not fulfil the works of the flesh." The heavenly Father has given us of His Holy Spirit help us through life journey. But most of us are not walking by Him thus He is not influencing all we do. Walking by the spirit is living a life that is influenced by the Spirit. It is living your life in the continual guidance of the Spirit of God. So, there shouldn't be a moment when we are left on our own. We are to build our relationship with the Holy Spirit and be daily guided by Him. If we are overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit we will not have room for any other forces to manipulate. The scripture says, "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." That is to say, Since we are living by the Spirit, we are to follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. The reference "Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might"

DEPART FROM INIQUITY

AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational  DEPART FROM INIQUITY MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Timothy 2:19 - "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity." We are in the era when iniquity is exalted in the name of grace is abounding. Iniquity is no longer seen for what it is but as the work of grace. Thus, many dwell iniquity instead of departing from it. They maybe many people in the church but not all are truly with the Lord. A lot of people do not want to depart from iniquity rather, they want God to lower His standard in order to allow them do whatever they want. They want iniquity to reign in the kingdom of righteousness.  Oh, how Jesus is being misrepresented in the world. We must understand that the essence of Jesus suffering and death was to put out sin and bring us into righteousness. The word iniquity means gross injustice, wickedness or sin. Wherefore, Paul

THE LORD WILL RESTORE

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational THE LORD WILL RESTORE MEMORY VERSE: - Nahum 2:2 - " For the LORD will restore the excellence of Jacob Like the excellence of Israel, For the emptiers have emptied them out And ruined their vine branches" (NKJV). This message in Nahum 2:2 is that of a great comfort and hope to those who has been afflicted and oppressed by the enemy. It is to those of whom the enemy have stolen their pride, their joy, their identity, their glory and honor. It is a message for that believer that has been reduced to nothing by the challenges that surrounds them. The Lord will restore the excellence, the splendor, the beauty, the glory, the fortunes that the spiritual robbers known as emptiers spirits have taken away from them and rendered them empty. The end of emptiers operation has come. No more lose, no more oppressions, no more torment, no more shame. The emptiers spirits have been weighed in the balance and found wanting and now the Lord is risen against them.

BORN OF INCORRUPTIBLE SEED

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational BORN OF INCORRUPTIBLE SEED MEMORY VERSE: - 1 Peter 1:23 - "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible." The scripture in John 3:6 says, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit". Therefore, to be born again is to be born of the spirit. The natural birth is of corruption because it is from the sinful nature but the spiritual birth is pure, stainless and incorruptible because the spirit that begat us is pure and incorruptible. Hence Peter declared in our memory verse that our new birth n Christ is "not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible." It is such that through this new birth, we have the incorruptible seed abiding in us, thus we have been made to be above sin. Yes sin have no more dominion over us. The word corruptiable speaks about something subject to decay and perishable; or something of impurity. That which is born of flesh is subject to decay
