WORSHIP IN SPIRIT 2

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational WORSHIP IN SPIRIT 2 MEMORY VERSE: - John 4:24 - “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" Oftentimes, people promote cultures, traditions of men and codes as a way of true worship, however that is not actually worship in spirit but an outward show. We know that God is a Spirit being, thus to worship Him in spirit, then, is to do something that is beyond the physical, something out of the ordinary. We are also to worship “in truth.” We cannot worship in spirit without having truth that guides us. Worshipping in truth means that our worship must be based on truth. Except we add truth to our worship, there can be no true worship in spirit. Both are necessary for pleasing and honouring God. To worship God in spirit and truth truly involves loving Him from the depth of our heart, mind and strength. It comes from having passion for God. Therefore true worship is connecting the whole heart to the awesomeness of God. Worship

WORSHIP IN SPIRI

NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational WORSHIP IN SPIRIT 1 MEMORY VERSE: - John 4:23 - “But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him." What does it mean to worship God in spirit? To worship God in spirit is to worship Him from our innermost being; it is to serve Him with reverence from the heart. It is a worship of faith and love. Worship in spirit is not about a place or building or ones personality or physical structure but in ones state of heart.  In the old, the ancient Jews worshipped God in symbols; like that of the ARK of covenant, but for the new creation man, there is no form of symbolic worship but a worship which flows from a true heart that is cleansed with the precious blood of Jesus. It's a pity that some christians practice image worship today with the so called Jesus picture. You must understand that the person who is used in those pictures is not our

SUFFICIENT GRACE

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational SUFFICIENT GRACE MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Corinthians 12:9 - “But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness .”  Sometimes when we are weak we feel it's not okay but actually it is okay to be weak for when we are weak then we trust in God's grace for strength, and we submit to God’s sovereignty.  The apostle Paul experienced a continuing weakness, a “thorn in the flesh” that God didn’t even remove instead, He said to him, "My grace is sufficient for you," Sometimes you pray for something and it doesn't come as expected, when that happens, you need to grasped God's sufficient grace to go on.  Sufficient grace means enough grace, it is having superabundant, never-ending, inexhaustible grace. in God’s economy, the more grace you need, the more grace you get. God supplies us with as much grace as we need for every situation we face.  Whatever your needs may be, you can rest in the truth that G

TRUST IN THE LORD 5

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational TRUST IN THE LORD 5 MEMORY VERSE: - Proverbs 3:6 - "In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths." Finally, we have come to the concluding part of this topic; here we can see that when we put our confidence in the Lord, then He will begin to lead us in the way to follow, “And he shall direct your part.” And the scripture says, “The steps of the righteous man are ordered by the Lord. Psalms 37:23 . Similarly, Proverbs 16:9 says, “A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his paths” When we consider our walk here on earth and the challenges that comes our way, we need to commit all things into the Lord’s hand so that He will guide and carry us through grace to the place of fulfillment. No one can achieve anything outside God. It is through Him that you are able to do all things, it is through Him that you are able to walk in the paths of righteousness, through Him; you are able to function in your purpose and destiny. As

TRUST IN THE LORD 3

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational  TRUST IN THE LORD 3 MEMORY VERSE: - Proverbs 3:5 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." Now, out text says, “And do not lean on your own understanding.” Leaning on one’s understanding could be so much disaster. By this text God is not saying we should not think nor do something with our mind, he is simply saying, “Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits.” Romans 12:16. (Amplified Bible). It is so very tempting to lean upon one's own strength rather than God, especially when you are well educated, well positioned in life, well blessed. However it's important to remember that it is not by our might nor power but by God’s Spirit that anything in life and of true spiritual value is accomplished (Zechariah 4:6).  “By strength shall no man prevail” declared Hannah in 1 Samuel 2:9. Thus, we must look beyond ourselves and look up to God who is all knowing and all sufficient. If w

TRUST IN THE LORD 2

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational TRUST IN THE LORD 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." We are to trust wholly not with some part of our heart but with all. This means that your heart must have unshaken faith in Him, it must be rooted and grounded in Him and must believe in every of His Word. We have been told in His word that those who put their trust in the Lord are never put to shame nor disappointed. “As Scripture says, "Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame." Romans 10:11 . Assuredly, God will not allow those who truly and total put their trust in Him to be put to shame; He will always show up in their situation and times of need. Although His timing is not same as our timing but He will certainly come and always at the right time that He has set for Himself: as God’s time is His set time. We saw in the case of Joseph; how everything seems to be going in the opposite direc

TRUST IN THE LORD 1

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational TRUST IN THE LORD 1 MEMORY VERSE: - Proverbs 3:5-6 - “Trust in the LORD with all your heart. And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” One of the things most believers struggle with, is trusting in the Lord whole heartedly. God desires that we put our full trust in Him, that we turn to Him for strength, and that we rest safely knowing that His heart toward us is good. This shows loyalty to his sovereignty.  What does it mean to trust in the LORD with all your heart? It is to put one’s complete, total, comprehensive confidence in Him. It is to be reliance in, dependence in, to feel secure, and to rest easy in the Lord. The Psalmist in Psalm 119:117 said, "Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually." The Psalmist so trusted in the Lord his God that he totally depends on him for everything. He lost sight of his ability and

WAIT ON THE LORD 2

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational WAIT ON THE LORD 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 40:1 - "I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry." We must wait on the Lord in matters of life decisions, don't just take decision based on how you feel to do things that partains to destiny, wait on the Lord until He speaks. There's a set time for everyone and everything. Let's look at the case of Moses. Deep down inside Moses he knew he was a deliverer thus, the zeal and urge made him to rush out before his time and slew the Egyptian. Afterwards, God sent him into the place of waiting; he waited for 40 years. It was 40 years of Preparation; 40 years of training; 40 of pruning and purging. In those period, Moses did not do anything of his own, he waited until he heard from the Lord. He allowed himself to go through the due process, and learnt to not be hasty in taking decision and action. He learned to be tolerance, Patient and endurance. Self was being deal

WAIT ON THE LORD

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational WAIT ON THE LORD MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 40:31 - "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint." To wait means to stay where one is or delay action until a particular time or event. It is to remain in readiness for a purpose. Oftentimes we find it difficult to be in such place of waiting due to its challenging work. Waiting period can be so difficult because we humans want to see things done as soon as possible. In Psalm 27:14, David said, "Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord." Thus we can see that waiting goes hand in hand with Patience. We must learn to be patience and get more and more patience and wait for he who has promised will surely perform his good will towards us.  In waiting, we must spend much time in prayers. Prayer is a very important key

A LIVING HOPE

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational A LIVING HOPE MEMORY VERSE: - 1Peter 1:3 - "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By yourhis great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead". The first thing we see in our memory verse is the basis of our living hope. It comes as a result of our relationship with Christ. By his great mercy we have new birth and because we are now children we are given a living hope.  Peter made us to understand that our hope in Christ is not dead but alive. Something that is living is that which is active and functional. Thus it has the inbuilt ability to produce great things in our lives.  Living in the light and life of Jesus’ resurrection does not exempt us from life’s challenges however, if you have a living hope in the living Christ you can deal with any issue that comes your way.  A great characteristic of the Christian life is that we live in hope. Christian hope sustains in

CAPTIVITY LED CAPTIVE

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational CAPTIVITY LED CAPTIVE MEMORY VERSE: - Ephesians 4:8 - "When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men," Jesus overcame the complete power of Satan, right and authority over mankind. He released the prisoners that were held captive by the wicked ones. He set their spirit, soul and their entire life in evil hold free and blessed them.  No one should be legally held captive by Satan, poverty, sickness or disease. Rather, they are to take their stand in what Christ has done for them proclaim their freedom and live thereby. Wherefore, the scripture in Psalm 234:6-7 said, "Blessed be the Lord , who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped." The devil is the fowler, he traps souls of men and women in his evil spiritual prison and keep them from functioning in the capacity they ought to function and from

LOOK UNTO HIM

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational LOOK UNTO HIM MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 34:5 - "They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed" Psalm 34:5. From the text above the word "him" is referring to the"Lord". No man ever look to the Lord Jesus is disappointed. We are admonished by the Psalmist to look up to the Lord in times of trouble and challenges for only in Him we can find refuge, help and strength to go through it and come out unhurt and strong.  To look unto the Lord is to trust Him with all your heart. And to trust Him is to depend on Him, to rely on Him, to have confidence in Him. The Psalmist declared, "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God." Psalm 20:7 When we look up to him, then we are handing over our burdens to him, thus He will take it from us and lighten the weight of the burden. In John 3:14-15. Jesus compared himself being “lifted up” in the same fashion Moses l

FATHER-CHILD RELATIONSHIP

Image
NwayemLiz Daily Inspirational FATHER-CHILD RELATIONSHIP MEMORY VERSE: - John 20:17 - "Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.” Many know the heavenly Father who has begotten us only as a God not as a father to them. They only see Him as a supernatural being thus, they do not have that father and child relationship. Jesus related what Jahovah God as a father because he understood the importance of fatherhood. He consistently address Him as His father. On one occasion when he said God was His father, they sought to kill him, "For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God." John 5:18  A God is a supreme being, a deity, that is worshipped. A god is a person or thing of supreme value,
