THE POWER OF WORSHIP

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Devotional   THE POWER OF WORSHIP MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 6:3,4 - "And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts. The whole earth is filled with His glory. And the post of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke" Worship is the attitude of humility, reverence, honor, devotion, and adoration that marks the relationship of created beings to their Creator. Worship not only testifies to our love for God and appreciation of Him but it exerts a power on the worshiper.  Worship opens doors, it brings about breakthroughs, increase, recovering, restoration and victories in every battle of life. When we come before God's presence in worship, He unveils to us His plans and gives us strategies to reach them. There is no way that we can walk in His peace, power, and perfect plan without a lifestyle of worship. Worship is an experience, an attitude, a frame of mind, and a condition of heart. Wor

ANGER MANAGEMENT

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational ANGER MANAGEMENT MEMORY VERSE: - Ecclesiastes 7:9 - Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the heart of fools. Anger is an emotion that can cause a lot of harm if not manage properly and put under subjection. It can get it's victim into a lot of trouble. We are to wisely control the way we react to things around us and not allow anger to get a better part of us.  Proverbs 29:11 tells us that “Fools vent their anger, but the wise quietly hold it back.” This scripture does not mean that the wise bury their anger or do not deal with it, but it means that they control their anger and how they express it. Most people who have anger issues doesn't really agree to it. But If you’ve been told that you have anger issues then you need to watch out for yourself and deal with it. Anger affects how you respond to people and treat them.  Many angered people are quick to take harsh action before they could think. Anger have made many t

HE BROUGHT US OUT TO BRING US IN

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational   HE BROUGHT US OUT TO BRING US IN MEMORY VERSE: - Deuteronomy 6:22-23 – “Moses says, “The Lord your God brought you out of bondage into inheritance. ……. And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.” God brought you out of the kingdom of darkness into His kingdom of light that you may inherit His blessings. So, He brought us out of misery, out of insufficiency, out of everything negative to bring us into something glorious, something marvelous, something awesome, something that has eternal value. He brought us into an inheritance and purpose.  It’s true that Jesus died for the sins of the entire world, but only those that receive Him are brought into the inheritance of the saints. The purpose for bringing the ancient Jews out of bondage was for them to inherit His Blessings; ‘the Land promised to their fathers’.  Listen, Jesus delivered us from the bondage of sin when we were in the wo

ENJOYING GOOD LIFE 3

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational ENJOYING GOOD LIFE 3 MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Corinthians 9:8 - And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity (AMP). God is good by nature; and He can’t stop being who he is. We must have confidence in His goodness in order to enjoy all that He has for us.  And it’s very important for us to understand that the promise of God's goodness and unfailing love does not mean a challenge free life.  However, because the rock that bears us never fails neither is there shadow of turning with Him, we are not consumed by challenges; rather in every challenge we are able to come out victoriously.  Understand that God always work all things out for our good. [Romans 8:28]. That is, God turns around for our g

ENJOYING GOOD LIFE 2

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational ENJOYING GOOD LIFE 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 84:11- “No good thing will He withhold from those who love Him” From the beginning when God created humans, He never wanted them to lack anything good, hence before their creation, He planted a garden filled with all they would need to enjoy life, and He also deposited raw materials of precious things and mineral resources for them.  Goodness and mercy are characteristics of God thus as His dear children He wants us to ever enjoy the continuous supply of His goodness and mercy. Whereas His mercy brings down His compassions on us, His goodness supplies all our needs. Undoubtedly being in Christ comes with great gains; some of which are His goodness and mercy. By His mercies, He continually provides us with the good things of life; so, He does not withhold any good thing from us. Mercy is kindness, compassion, and unfailing love.  The Lord have promised us in His Word, “Though the mountains be shaken and the hill

ENJOYING GOOD LIFE

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational   ENJOYING GOOD LIFE MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 23:6a - “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…” God demonstrated His incredible love for us by making His only begotten Son to be a ransom for us. He did it so that we may have the right kind of life that he planned for us before the foundation of the world.  What kind of life are we talking about? It is the “Good life” (Goodness). The word, ‘surely’ in our memory verse, means ‘certainly’. It means that it’s 100% guaranteed, and that it is undisputable that God’s goodness and mercies will always be with His children.  When God promises us that goodness and mercies will follow us all the days of our lives, It means that every day, in our entire or whole life that His goodness (Good life, success, prosperity) and mercy (kindness) will continually be found in and around us: this is our eternal portion in Christ. And even when we go through challenges, each challenge is opening doors fo

WONDERFULLY MADE

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational WONDERFULLY MADE MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 139:11 - " I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." God is a great Designer; He has uniquely designed you and made you valuable, thus your tremendous worth is more than you can imagine. You are not a mistake, you are not inferior, you are a special specie made to reveal the glory of God and to glorify Him. You are not ordinary, you are more than who you see in the mirror, you are precious and priceless, you are God's unique child made in the image and likeness of God. You are loaded. Yes! You're so loaded with greatness: thus GREATNESS IS IN YOU. God has created us in such wisdom, power, and glory, the only proper response we can give to Him is to appreciate who we are and praise, honour and glorify His name.  Therefore no matter the situations that may be surrounding you, just stay positive and praise Him. Refuse to

NOW IS YOUR MOMENT

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational   NOW IS YOUR MOMENT MEMORY VERSE: - John 11:21-24, "Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day"   A lot of people pray but do not believe they can have the answer to their request immediately. Their faith is always in the future. The mindset of future has kept them from embracing that which is theirs at the moment. Thus, they neglect the place of faith in the now of today’s experience. While Martha could only think of the future as the only time her brother could rise again from the dead, Jesus was seeing it happening in the moment. Beloved, it's time to wake up and begin to walk in the 'now' faith. What is now? It means at the present time or moment. it is right

THE SNARE IS BROKEN

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational THE SNARE IS BROKEN MEMORY VERSE: - Psalms 124:7 - “Our soul escaped as a bird out of a snare of fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.” They are so many issues in people's life, so many situations that are messing with their minds, and messing with our relationship with our Lord. Some are dealing with financial issues, some health issues, some moral issues.  Note that the text did not say, “We hope that we will escape, and we trust that the snare will be broken” ; but it rightly says, “The snare is broken, and we are escaped.” David in this passage was declaring as a prophet what Christ was to do for the freedom of the soul's of mankind from the hold of satanic power.  And now, by His sacrifice for us, it has been done, the matter has been settled, Christ has broken the snare of the Fowler, He has broken the chain that held the captive soul and has "led captivity captive". (Ephesians 4:8) . Thus the scripture in Isaiah 49:24

CULTIVATE A WINNING ATTITUDE

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational CULTIVATE A WINNING ATTITUDE MEMORY VERSE: - Philippians 1:27 - “Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ” Our character is who we are; it contributes a lot to the building of our destiny. It is that inward personality that produces good or bad fruits on the outward. Our attitude is rooted to our character. Every action we take in life has its root in our attitude, thus our attitude manifest through actions in the outward. Our attitude affects our future either positively or negatively. Right attitude is the key to wholesome living . Right attitude will deepen or strengthen your relationship with God and people, it will open huge doors of opportunities, it will bring you promotion, elevate you, set you before kings and bring you into high position. In order word, attitude determines our ability to keep relationships and achievement and also determines one’s success or failure in life.  Many have lost great opportun

SAFE AND SECURED

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational SAFE AND SECURED MEMORY VERSE: - John 10:28-29 - "..... no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand." Who does not want safety and security in every area of their life? Of course, we all want that. But due to the evil surrounding our world today, there have been so much fear of insecurity. The only safest place to be is in Christ presence, where no foe can harm you nor snatch your life away.  Wherefore the scripture in Psalm 92:1 says, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]" In the pavilion of His presence, no power can harm nor snatch us out of His hand, because the Father, who has given us to the Son is greater than all; the scripture tells us that "the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to de

REJOICE ALWAYS

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational   REJOICE ALWAYS MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 46:16 - "Let all who seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee; Let those who love Thy salvation say continually, "The LORD be magnified!" Do you know that God wants you to be happy? Yes, certainly, it is His will that we His children live a happy life. Wherefore, the Scriptures says, “Let those that seek you [God ] rejoice and be glad in him" our rejoicing is not in ourselves, not in our feelings and emotions, but in Him. We rejoice in Him even when the things around us is not conducive, because we know that the joy which comes from him sees the end that is victorious. Understand that in our God there is joy and gladness of heart not sorrow and bitterness as some made it seem. Hence, we were never told in the scripture to be wretched, miserable or downcast. Furthermore, We do not see that scripture saying "Groan in the LORD always and again I say groan" Never..... Rather we hear the word

MEMBERS OF GOD'S FAMILY 2

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational MEMBERS OF GOD'S FAMILY 2 MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Corinthians 3:6 - “He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” Like I said in the part one of this topic, Jesus did not come to bring another religion but to bring sons and daughters unto the Father.  Religion is nothing but an ideology, but relationship and family is the real thing. Wherefore, Christ has enabled us to be children of God by the Spirit not of laws (religion). The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life. Living in religion kills but being a man or woman of relationship gives life. What Satan is using to rob people of their right to experiencing God's full package for them is religion.  Religion is a mock, a counterfeit, and a deception. But that which God offers us is relationship by the power of the Spirit.  Christianity is not in religion but an

MEMBERS OF GOD'S FAMILY

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational   MEMBERS OF GOD'S FAMILY  MEMORY VERSE: - John 1:12 - "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name"   Jesus did not come to establish another religion, but to raise a family, to raise a people of relationship with the Father, to raise a special species of rulers on earth.  Therefore, as believers, Jahovah God is our Father and we are His children, as such, we are members of His divine family, thus, we should see Him as a father in our life and relate with Him as such. Wherefore, Paul wrote, “You are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household” (Eph. 2:19). Hallelujah, we are no longer strangers.  A lot of people are far away from God because they don't see Him as a Father. Listen, when we were in the world, we were strangers separated from the Father. But now in Christ, we are members of the Divine fam

DIVINE SUPPLY

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational     DIVINE SUPPLY MEMORY VERSE: - Philippians 4 19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory" We all have needs that we want to be met, however many are missing out the true source of our supply, thus they do so many unspeakable, dubious things to get their needs met. According to Paul, the source of our needs supply is God through Jesus Christ. Does this mean we shouldn't work? Not at all, for it is written, "He who does not work should not eat" (2 Thessalonians 3:10). So, what is Paul teaching us in Philippians 4 19? It is for us to recognize that the Lord is the true source of our supply and we must trust in Him for all our needs and provision.  The scripture in Proverbs 3:5-6 - says, "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your parts" To acknowledge is to recognize the rights, authority, or s

REFUSE TO BE RULED BY FEAR

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational REFUSE TO BE RULED BY FEAR MEMORY VERSE: - Proverbs 3:5 - “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” Fear creeped it's way into mankind's life at the fall and since then it has been like a normal thing to have fear. But, no, it is not normal to have fear rule you. God did not put the spirit of fear in you rather he gave you that of "boldness and sound mind". Oftentimes, fear come as a result of something that may have happened; however, it's important how you deal with it. Understand that most people you see that appears fearless and full of confidence actually had some fears, but the difference is that they refused to be ruled by it: they refused to allow it take hold over their life.  Because they know that when it gets out of control, it can torment and keep them from going further in life. The Bible tells us that, "fear hath torment…’ (1 John 4:18). When you allow fear to gain ground in y

PLANTED IN GRACE

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational PLANTED IN GRACE MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 1:3 - "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper." The means of grace are those rivers of water in which the trees of righteousness (saints) are planted. And from that grace they receive supplies of wisdom and vigour to prosper in all their endeavors. Therefore, the people that are planted in Christ grace are those that are set up in a favorable place: thus they shall be fruitful and flourishing, bearing gracious fruits at all times. It's impossible to be in Christ grace and be unproductive. Because, Grace will always make you to be fruitful and successful. Our text further says, "His leaf also shall not wither" Certainly, the blessings of the man planted in grace does not fade away, diminished, nor ceased. It is an eternal blessing that continues from generation to

TOUCH OF JESUS HAND

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational TOUCH OF JESUS HAND MEMORY VERSE: - Matthew 9:18 - "On one occasion a ruler came to Jesus for help, knelt before him and said, "My daughter has just died. But come and lay Your hand on her, and she will live." Look at the scenario the devil put in the ruler's home, first of all, he laid a snare in his family with sickness and decease, then he went future to kill its prey before Jesus could get to the ruler's house due to some delays on his way.  But thanks be to God, that at last Jesus got there and by His presence alone the kingdom of hell was frightened. And right there, He stretch out his hand and touched the dead girl, and the bands of death was broken, the stronghold of death was destroyed and life was restored back to her.  The enemy have crept into many homes, lives, finances, businesses, marriage etc and have done its worst, bringing chaos and pains. But today Jesus is stretching forth his righteous hands and He's touch

THE EVER WILLING GOD 2

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational THE EVER WILLING GOD 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Ephesians 3:20 - Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Assuredly, God wants to take you beyond your expectations and to do greater things in your life. But the question now is are you prepared? Are you ready for a change? Do you want to move out of the Place of barely enough to more than enough? Do you want to experience the kingdom life here on earth?  If so, then you need to stop seeing what is around and start believing in the change you want to see. Defining faith, the anointed woman of God 'Kathryn Kulhman' said, 'Faith is when you quit believing in what you see and start seeing what you believe' Moreover, you need to stop seeing Jesus as one who is just by the right hand of God doing nothing - Stop seeing God as an incapable God - Stop seeing the Holy Spirit as an inactive observer. God gave us His Spirit to

THE EVER WILLING GOD

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational THE EVER WILLING GOD MEMORY VERSE: - Luke 5:12-13 -   "In one of the villages, Jesus met a man with an advanced case of leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground, begging to be healed. “Lord,” he said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared. To be willing means to be ready, to be eager or prepared to do something. It is to be interested or delighted to do something or anything for someone. It is to be pleased, to desire and to want to do something. Sometimes we have it in our head that God does not want to give us somethings in life. We feel He doesn't want us to have great life in this world and for that reason, many choose to believe that the only thing that can come to them from God are terrible things. But that's not true about our Heavenly Father. He is a good God who gives good things
