THE BEAUTY OF THE LORD

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirationals THE BEAUTY OF THE LORD MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 90:17 - Let the beauty of the Lord our God be seen in us”  Psalm 90 was a prayer of Moses for God’s chosen people, and he made us to understand that there is need for the beauty of the Lord to be visible in the life of His people, “In Us”. Beauty implies glory, radiance, splendor, magnificence, loveliness, or attractiveness. So in this passage, the scripture is saying “let the glory of the Lord be made manifest or be revealed in us."   We are Born Again to be the expressions of the Glory of God in the world. That is to say, God's glory is made manifest in the world through the believer. The revelations of God’s glory in the life of His children are proves of His greatness, worth and magnitude.  The entrance of Christ into our life ushers in the beauty of the Lord our God, thus Isaiah prophesied ahead before His coming that which He was going to do in the life of those who will receive Him into their liv

DAYS OF VISITATION

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirationals DAYS OF VISITATION MEMORY VERSE: - Genesis 50:24-25 "And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.”  There are times and seasons in everyone’s’ life. In the season whereby God is pleased to accomplished special purposes in someone’s life, a time where God rest His favor and brings about the manifestations of one’s prayers, a season of divine intervention is known as the day of visitation. They were once in Zachariah and his wife Elizabeth’s life when they were called barren because they had no child, but a day came that God visited them and turned their life and story around. It happened that as he was ministering in the temple that an angel appeared to him and told him his prayer has been heard and t

YOU ARE GODS

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirationals YOU ARE GODS' MEMORY VERSE: - Psalms 82:6, “I have said, ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High" Now! in reassuring us about who we are, Jesus said, “Is it not written in your law, I said, ye are gods? If He called them gods, unto whom the Word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken” (John 10:34 - 35). Oh yes! The scripture cannot be broken; it is forever settled in Christ that we are gods on earth. And 'God’s word is forever settled.' (Ps. 119:89). To be a god in this verse means to have high ranking position above others. It is to have power over things or people, it is to have supremacy over other created things. Our heavenly father has made us to be gods over all created things and over principalities and powers. In Christ you are not an ordinary person, you are more than who you see in the mirror, you are not just flesh and blood, but a supernatural being in human body positioned upon the face of th

THE PROMISES OF GOD

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirationals THE PROMISES OF GOD MEMORY VERSE: - 2 Corinthians 1:20 “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes and Amen, to the glory of God through us”. The promises of God are not “YES” today then tomorrow “NO”. Neither are they “Maybe”. But are “YES! nothing short of Yes. The word “promise” or “promises” stands for a declaration, a vow, a pledge, a guarantee an undertaken, or an assurance that one will do a particular thing or declare that something will happen. Thus, all of God’s promises are sure because “ God cannot lie.” Because God’s promises are Yes and Amen, therefore He does not say NO to any prayer that is prayed in line with His will. Wherefore, John declared, “And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us" 1John 5:14.   Jesus in Revelation 3:14 said, He is the “Amen the faithful and true witness.” If Jesus is the Amen, it then means your case is settled already for Amen means “So be it

DON'T SETTLE FOR LESS

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirationals   DON’T SETTLE FOR LESS MEMORY VERSE: - Jeremiah 29:11, “I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future” Oftentimes, many Christians settle for lesser than they are meant to be, because they do not believe that the best is their portion in Christ. You must understand that God wants the best for you more than you can imagine: He says “My plans are to prosper you and not to harm you” This is a surety word. It is guaranteed. The best of the earth is your portion in Christ therefore; you don’t have to settle for the less.  God cares so much for you that He wants you to not settle where you are: He wants you to go and get all that there is for you in His storehouses because He has great and wonderful things in store for you.  Another thing that makes people to settle for the less is inferiority complex. Such people continually look down on themselves; they see themselves as l

ABUNDANTLY SATISFIED

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirationals ABUNDANTLY SATISFIED MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 36:8 - “They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy house” In our heavenly father’s storehouse, there is abundance for everyone, yes! There is more than enough for all of us. He has provisions for all His children; none is to lack anything good. Those who learn to depend on, (rely on, lean on,) or put their trust in Him shall share in the provision laid up therein. God wants the best for us thus He gives us the best, “the fatness of His house” He abundantly satisfies the desires of His children; and meets their every need; therefore, we do not live in lack and want. Just as David declared in Psalm 23:1, “The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.” (NLT) Christ came to bring us into God’s original plan for us: and that is to have life in its fullest, it is to “live in abundance” this includes our homes, business, career, finance and everything that life offers. However, if we do not have pe

CALLED TO GLORY

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirationals   CALLED TO GLORY MEMORY VERSE: - Peter 1:3, “ According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” Our text says, we have been called to live a life of glory and virtue. Virtue speaks of excellence. It's a pity that mankind sees this as something that attributes to the dead. Peter was not talking to the dead but the living believers for as we well know the dead is lifeless, and they do not praise nor glorifies God, “ The dead do not praise the Lord, nor do any who go down into silence” (Psalm 115:17). The life of glory is a life that glorifies God. It's a life of excellence, and that of praise and since it is only the living that can do such, the believer is to glorify God in this world through His manifold goodness in their lives.  Assuredly, there is nothing holding back from the believer because of the indwelling Spirit of Christ

TASTE AND SEE

Image
_AbayeLiz Daily Inspirationals _  TASTE AND SEE MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 34: 8; “O taste and see that the LORD is good; happy are those who take refuge in him.” In our text today, we are told to have a taste of the Lord and experience His goodness. To “ taste ” here, is to have experience. While to “ see ” is to understand, to realize, or to know by experience. So, this is a call to come to the place of encounter in God. It is to experience His graciousness and His power made real in our life. God provides us with protection, guidance, healing and provisions for all our needs.  Certainly, “The Lord is a sun and a shield, the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless” Psalm 84:11 And so, David, a man who had gone through many challenges and troubles in life and has experienced and discovered the goodness nature of God, invites us to come and do same. It doesn’t matter what you are going through, come to the fountain of life to draw,

ONLY BELIEVE

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirationals ONLY BELIEVE MEMORY VERSE: - Mark 5:36. “As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said unto the ruler of the synagogue, be not afraid, Only Believe” Jairus was in the midst of great challenge, the news of his daughter's dead was very devastating. “Your daughter is dead. There’s no use troubling the teacher now” (Mark 5:35B). They said to him. Although, he came to seek Christ intervention while there was still life in the child, nevertheless, due to some distractions on the way, Christ didn’t immediately go to heal her, and finally, the child died.   Oh, how his spirit must have been broken and all hope lost... How everything must have seemed gloomy and impossible in the eyes of the ordinary man but not in the eyes of Christ who has been with the Father. He who knows what His father was capable of doing, He who knows what the perfect will of the Father was for Jairus and his daughter, as a result, He saw differently. He saw life in the mi

LOOK AND LIVE

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirationals LOOK AND LIVE  MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 34:5- “They looked unto Him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed" From the text above the word " Him" is referring to our "Lord Jesus Christ" So we can say "They looked unto the Lord , and were lightened." Truly! No man ever look unto the Lord for help is ever disappointed. When we are faced with burdens and challenges, we are to look unto the Lord because only in Him we can find rest and refuge, help and strength to go through it and come out unhurt and strong.  By looking up to Him, we are handing over our burdens to Him, we are exchanging our burdens with His grace, thus He will take away the heavy weight of the burden from us and give us rest. Jesus said, “ Come to me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 GNTD.  So, are you tired, worn out, or burned out on situation? Come to Jesus and you’ll recover your l

CHOSEN BY GRACE

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational  CHOSEN BY GRACE MEMORY VERSE - 1Corinthians 15:10 “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”. Grace has always been classified as unmerited favor but He is beyond unmerited favor. Unmerited favor is what comes through grace to us when He is resting and dwelling in us; Grace is the enablement of God. Grace is power. Every good thing in this life is by God’s grace. All our accomplishments are by His grace alone, you can do nothing without the grace of God. Child of God, I want you to know that you are chosen by grace, and for that reason, you will be given that which you may not be qualified for.  You may not be qualified for that job, or position, or for that appointment, but you are getting it anyway, because grace qualifies you.  You may not seem good enough before people but because grace qualifies y

NO LONGER SLAVE TO FEAR 2

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational NO LONGER SLAVE TO FEAR 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 35:4 - “Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” Our text today brings us such hope and courage, it brings us a re-assurance that our Heavenly Father is always with us and cares so much for us: and more interestingly, is that we are no longer bond to fear because our heavenly Father is fighting our battles for us. Therefore, it says, “Say to those with fearful hearts” in order word, ‘declare’ ‘proclaim’ ‘announce’ ‘tell’ those who are in a state of fear due to some challenges around them, those in a state of confusion, those who right now are at the point of giving up, those who are tired of life and its uncertainty should not be afraid anymore because the Lord your God is coming through for you. He is taking care of those issues that are troubling you and is giving you rest from it. Paul

NO LONGER SLAVE TO FEAR

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational NO LONGER SLAVE TO FEAR MEMORY VERSE: - Romans 8:15 "For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father” (ESV). The scripture made us to understand that the believer is not under the influence of fear, consequently, do not have any reason to fear what tomorrow will bring because they know that their God is already in their tomorrow. The life of one outside Christ is that of fear, it is a life terrified on daily basis about life issues. This is because the power which brings freedom from fear is not in such life. Fear which came into humanity at the fall; has since then held mankind in its hold in bondage: but thanks be to God who sent His Son to destroy the stronghold of fear. For when Christ came, He delivered us from such bondage. Thus, as many that received Him into their life are no longer slave to fear. The believer in their new birth experienc

FOLLOW AND BE MADE

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational FOLLOW AND BE MADE MEMORY VERSE: Matthew 4:19 “And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you......” He who follows is an apprentice, a trainee, or a student. As a believer, for you to be made, you must follow, you must learn from the master himself, you must submit to His leading. Colossians 2:6 tells us, "And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him." NLT  The believer must walk with Christ so as to avoid errors of life. We must go on with this exalted, all-sufficient Christ in the same way we received Him. How did we receive him? By the hearing of His word. And so, we must continue to have fellowship with Him in studying the Word and prayers. Certainly, we can't follow if we don't have fellowship with Him. Everyone desires to be made in life, We all want to succeed, we all want to achieve something and leave a legacy behind; but we can’t do it alone; it's important we understand t

EXCEPT THE LORD BUILDS A HOUSE

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational  EXCEPT THE LORD BUILDS A HOUSE MEMORY VERSE: - Psalm 127:1 , “Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” In the passage above, we can see the futility of self-reliance and the foolishness of self-sufficiency. It proves that no one can achieve anything meaningful and lasting by its own power. This brings to mind the scripture that says, “It is the Lord your God that gives you power to get wealth” Deuteronomy 8:18: Indeed our sufficiency is of God for it is Him that gives us the grace to achieve anything in life. You may have great dreams, awesome visions and may set out of this goals to reaching them, however, you must understand that none can achieve anything outside God's power and grace. Except the Lord helps you in building that vision, goal or dreams; your efforts will be fruitless. Understand that reverencing, depending and trusting on God in all we

TRUE WORSHIP 3

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational TRUE WORSHIP 3 MEMORY VERSE: - John 4:23 -   “For God is a spirit, so those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). A lot of people are carried away by physical features, appearances, great structures and humanistic system of worship: that they do not to seek for true worship from a pure heart that is given to the truth. While men look at these things, God looks at the heart: for He is the searcher of every man’s heart. (See Jeremiah 17:10). Therefore, true worship is not in the magnificent building, although it is good to have such befitting worship places for our God. True worship is also not in exciting music. True worship is in obedience to God’s instructions, it’s in submission to God’s will and it’s from a pure heart with a clear conscience cleansed from every wickedness. And so, Jesus said that the _ ‘Father is not only to be worshipped in spirit but also in Truth' ._ Truth is an important factor in our faith. We can’t s

TRUE WORSHIP 2

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational   TRUE WORSHIP 2 MEMORY VERSE: - Isaiah 29:13 "... These people draw near to me with their mouths, and honour me with their lips, yet have removed their hearts far from me. Moreover, their worship toward me is the doctrines of men." To show how God frowns at worship that is not from the heart, which is Lip worship, Jesus re-echoed this words in Matthew 15:8 . Lip worship is a hypocritical kind of worship, it is pretentious worship, it's a worship of show up, it appears to be godly before men but inwardly, the heart is far from God. The father seeks for true worshippers, He seeks for those who will worship Him with genuine hearts in revere, awe and adoration. He seeks for worshipers that both their words and lifestyle portrays what they believe. Oh, how many people talk religiously buy live differently from their words. Many showcase man made appearance while their lifestyle portrays evil and wickedness. Truly, appearance can be very deceitfu

TRUE WORSHIP 1

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational TRUE WORSHIP 1 MEMORY VERSE: - John 4:23 - “But the time is coming” He said, “and is already here when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for anyone who will worship Him that way.”  In her encounter with Jesus, the Samaritan woman was made to understand that it takes more than playing religion to be a true worshiper. Indeed, today, they are people who are merely church goers and they are people who are true worshippers who worship the father and the son Jesus Christ from a pure heart. When Jesus became a ransom for us, He automatically opened the way for true worship in spirit – “through the body of His flesh, He consecrated for us a new and living way” (Hebrews 10:20). The old system of worship was based on symbolic Ark of covenant, ritual law, and physical circumcision of cutting off the foreskin of male organ. Nevertheless, in this new and living way that Christ opened for us, we are “circumcised in o

TAKE AWAY THE DROSS

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational TAKE AWAY THE DROSS MEMORY VERSE: - Proverbs 24:4 - “Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.” Dross is a scum, a refuse or impurity on the surface of melted metal. It is anything insignificant, meaningless, worthless, and of no value. On the other hand, it is a covering that covers the beauty and glory of someone or something. Whenever there is dross in any life, that person will never be able to manifest the glory of God in his or her life. Like a skin, it covers one’s true personality, it obstructs and hinders them from rising to the height that God destined for them, it stands as a coating, or an outer layer that covers its victim from being seen for glorification.  You may have great plans or dreams but there may be some character, attitudes, or lifestyles in you that could get in your way of achieving them, those things are dross and you need to take them away that your life may count.  Moreover, God w

THE CHAMPIONS

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational   THE CHAMPIONS MEMORY VERSE - Philippines 4:8. “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.' The champions of today are those who declare their victory even before the battle starts. They declare their victory through their words, they are those who speak life no matter what is before them. It is important that you put a Watch over your words as your life eventually becomes the outcome of the words you speak. To speak right, you must think right because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). Therefore think on noble things that you may speak life giving words today.  Your mind is always active monitoring your body functions and thoughts. And your thoughts controls your entire life. As it is written, “For

YOU ARE NOT OF THE WORLD 2

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational     YOU ARE NOT OF THE WORLD 2 MEMORY VERSE: - John 17:16 - “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world” Furthermore, “Not of the world” also refers to us not being a part of the humanistic or the world's corrupt system which is against God's standard for us. That is to say, we shouldn’t be part of the evil system controlled by Satan that leads us away from worshipping God in spirit and in truth. It speaks of our source of information, influence, motivation, inspiration that is not coming from the world's view but from above.  We are Christ ambassadors in this world; we are chosen to influence the world with the glory of our heavenly country. So, even though we live in the world, we have been selected or chosen out of it to represent Christ. Wherefore, in John 15:19 last line, Jesus said, “But I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.” Why did He choose us out of the world? It is so that we can spread th

YOU ARE NOT OF THE WORLD

Image
AbayeLiz Daily Inspirational   YOU ARE NOT OF THE WORLD MEMORY VERSE: - John 17:14 – 16, “I have given them your Word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world.” In thi passage, Jesus made us to understand that we are not of the world. Now some have misunderstood and misapplied this scripture, taking it to mean that for the reason that we are not of this world, thus we do not need the blessings of God in this world. Notice that He didn’t say, “Not In” but He rightly said, “Not Of” Now to understand what Jesus is saying let us look at the text in John 17:11. “And I am no more in the world, but these are in the world….” Before we can talk about not of the world, let's look at “In the world” phrase first: “These are in the world” is talking about point of location, the place where one physically resides and functions at. But the fact that you are in a location is not necessarily that you are from there, you can come from west but resides in the south.
